The cabin is beautiful and had pretty much every thing you need for a family getaway. The stay was comfortable and the deck and night sky views were amazing. The hot tub is dated and wasn’t heating up to our desired temp, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the serenity of the place. The access to the walking trail was convenient and we loved how secluded we felt at the cabin. Host is responsive and checked in with us to make sure we were good. Overall we had a great weekend getaway. Thanks!

We loved the house! Many windows looking out to the forest, lots of space for the whole family and we really enjoyed our stay. The reason for 4 stars was the hot tub lid was old and didn’t work well, microwave above the stove doesn’t work but we didn’t realize it until we tried to use it (then saw the small replacement one on the counter), oven smelled when we turned it on because it isn’t clean, and a few other small things. On the whole, we would stay at this house again and really appreciated the large family room, kitchen and screen porch. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and spacious! Our adult kids used the proximity passes to go swimming at the association indoor pool which they enjoyed! Overall a great house

Beautiful cabin in the woods, very roomy and comfortable. Only issues were hot tub, which we were given compensation for, and the kitchen pots/pans/dishes needed to be washed before using. Loved the neighborhood and proximity to downtown Galena.

Very nice house in a great setting. Several large gathering spaces and nice large bedrooms. Having multiple king size beds is a plus for our group of friends. Loved the ability to take a walk in the woods right outside the door. Would have given a 5-rating but at the time of our stay the house needed a good deep clean and some maintenance.

We loved all the bright light from all the windows, natural light, the spaciousness of all of the bedrooms and the closets. The pictures do need to be updated on the website because they differ from what is actually in the house. The dartboard was not functioning. The hot tub was not functional during our stay, as that is why we chose this house in addition to wanting to play air hockey, as there was no air hockey table. The Internet connection could’ve been better. We had to clean the deck and hose down all the cobwebs. The grill was filthy and we had to clean it before use. The dining table served our needs as we were a family of 10. The living room couches were very comfortable and accommodated all of us. The host was very responsive with any questions. The house was very beautiful, it just needs a little more TLC.

Galena Territory Property

This is a wonderful 5 bedroom home, with a quiet setting. The screened porch is peaceful and you can hear birds, especially in the morning.The access to the Owners Club pool and other amenities, like tennis courts was great. We were contacted a couple of days prior to our stay to let us know the hot tub was not functioning, but they were looking into repairing it. The hot tub was not functional for the length of our stay and the owner did not respond to our mid week inquiry about its status. Wineglasses were delivered because apparently a previous occupant had noted their absence. That was a nice addition to the kitchen. We could not find a corkscrew to open our wine bottle, however. This is minor and in no way affects our rating, but the owner might find it helpful to supply one for the kitchen.

Property was beautiful, clean and large. Private wooded lot with large deck and screened in porch. Plenty of dishes and silverware. Knives very dull but with time, I did find a sharpening stone. All was wonderful

Wonderful experience!

We used this cabin to gather all our kiddos for Thanksgiving weekend and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. There were 9 of us and we fit perfectly. The hot tub was one of our favorite perks! Especially the morning we woke up to snow. It fit 6 of us very comfortably. It was great to have towels specifically for hot tub use as well so we didn’t have to use our bath towels. The kitchen was super well stocked. We made our whole Thanksgiving meal with what was provided. The host was VERY responsive! Even when we had little questions they replied to messages very quickly. Definitely 5 stars! We’re looking forward to another trip back!

Awesome vacation rental!

I stayed here with a group of nine adult friends, and it was perfect! The house is lovely, and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch. It’s right next to hiking trail access and a close drive to the pool and other amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and there was plenty of space to gather in the common areas or spread out when we wanted. We hope to return - thank you!

Beautiful Home

This house was perfect for our three-generation family vacation. Very spacious and clean, plenty of bedroom space, and the 4-1/2 baths was great for a group of 10 people. Would recommend

5 of us siblings and our spouses stayed here for a 3 night 4 day extended weekend. It was the perfect place to gather, rest, relax, plan our Galena adventures, and spend time together. It has the feel of being separate and woodsy while being in a lovely neighborhood. Well stocked, comfortable furniture, and everything you'd need to prepare meals and eat together. The screen porch was my favorite. Morning coffee- listening to the birds- just what we needed to start the day. I enjoyed a walk in the woods as there was a hiking/unpaved walking trail right by the house followed by a soak in the hot tub. Thank you Cory for sharing this spot with our family!

Family Fun

Had a great stay with family. The house was spacious, with room for the family to gather as well as a enough space to grab a quiet nap. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to prepare family meals and snacks. Beautiful location. Set back into the woods for a very private feel. Great screened in porch as well as back deck. Easy communication with host. Would definitely return.

Great place!

Beautiful secluded home in a great location! Close to marina, trail system, owner's club, etc. Home was setup with everything we needed and it is well maintained and clean! Kids enjoyed the hot tub and basement game room. Enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch!

Beautiful

We loved staying here. We made so many memories! Had a ton of fun with the air hockey table but our favorite activity was cozying up by the warm fire place and watching some Christmas movies together with the beautiful landscape in the background. Breakfasts were a great times too. The open floor plan along with the big table and fantastic morning views made for more great memories! The owners were really responsive when we had some questions. The kids loved going to the Owners Club to swim! Great trip!
