Nuestra casa incluye dormitorios y baños separados en cada piso. El nivel superior cuenta con nuestro exclusivo loft para dormir que lleva nuestro nombre: ¡Stargazer's Nook! Este será el lugar favorito de tus familiares y amigos. ¡Acomódate y disfruta del cielo nocturno! Nuestra casa ofrece una sala de estar abierta, un comedor, una cocina con barra desayunadora y una chimenea de leña de doble cara visible desde las tres áreas. La planta principal también cuenta con un dormitorio con 2 camas individuales, baño completo con bañera y ducha, porche con mosquitero y terraza con vistas al lote densamente arbolado. Arriba hay un dormitorio con cama tamaño queen, un baño completo con ducha y un excelente espacio de trabajo con escritorio y asientos. La sala familiar ubicada en el nivel inferior conduce a un patio exterior inferior y a un paraíso arbolado. El nivel inferior tiene un dormitorio Queen adicional, un baño completo con ducha y una gran área familiar para divertirse y jugar o simplemente relajarse y mirar televisión. El patio ofrece un excelente espacio para jugar a la pelota, al frisbee, a las bolsas y a otros juegos al aire libre. Hay una ruta de senderismo privada que serpentea por el bosque detrás de la casa. ¡Disfruta de la caminata! Great accommodations! It worked great for all of the family to meet and spend time inside & out. It was easy for our 93 year Dad and Mom to move around on the main floor. The teenagers enjoyed playing skeet ball & the fire pit. We were close to the pool and easy to get to down town Galena.

Great Place To Stay!

The place was well kept and had nice views! The property owner was very responsive and helpful! Gave us great ideas for the future as well! There was a bedroom on the first floor which was great for my dad and his bad knees. The only issue is the toilet were extremely difficult to flush and couldn’t find the blow up mattress.

We will definitely be back

Our time at the Stargazer’s Nook was nothing short of magical. We had so much fun playing skee ball, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying restful nights in such a cozy space. The beautiful nature surrounding this home is lovely and we 10 out of 10 recommend!

Golf Trip

Great place

The house was exactly what the listing said. The whole house was very clean. It was easy to access the house once we arrived and the check-out process was pretty simple to, with notes attached to the fridge on what had to be done. We would stay here again.

Great Home

My family stayed at this home and my brother at a home down the road. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were amazing. The kitchen and porch was big enough to cook meals together and we could all eat at one time. The area offered lots to do and hot tub was wonderful. The vacation destination was a hit!

50 Birthday Celebration

My sisters and Mom decided on a girls weekend in Galena to enjoy wine, shopping, and of course hot tub time for my oldest sister’s 50th. This place was perfect for a small group! The nook was popular for star gazing, the hot tub was delightful in the cold weather, the location to downtown Galena and the wineries in the area was great, and the Skeeball in the house was fun. We are already talking about our next stay!!

Wonderful Time

Couldn’t have been happier - the house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out and enjoy. The fooseball table was a ton of fun, the hot tub was wonderful, and there were lots of toys to keep the 2-year-old we had with us entertained.

Lovely Retreat

This house was so comfy, can we talk about that reading nook?! What a dream. We had a great friend's weekend, enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. The dining table was perfect fit for board games AND snacks. This was exactly what we all needed

Everything you need is here!

This home was very clean and well-maintained. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The pool was only a 5 minute drive and we enjoyed using the hot tub every evening. We enjoyed kayaking, zip lining, going on the Alpine Slide, and shopping in town.

Friends retreat

Upon arrival we explored the entire house and fell in love. We ended up ordering in and enjoying the hot tub, fire pit and game room. Saturday we went downtown and introduced Cosmo to everyone interested. We had a great time and it was fun to have a goal for the evening.

Clean and comfortable

Cute and clean property, clean hot tub, very nice space. Wish we had another family with us, would have enjoyed the basement space. Great game collection. Access to the community pool was nice; it was a little bit crowded.

Great family getaway

The house was great! Extremely clean and well stocked kitchen. The location is close to the multiple golf courses, owners club with pool, and a short drive to downtown Galena. There were toys for the kids and games for all ages. The screened porch was a favorite, especially this time of year when the bugs are getting bad. We very much appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and will look forward to another visit!

A Great Little Getaway

Beautiful scenery all around, and the night sky looks amazing (especially once the outdoor lights go out at 10). My group did not, unfortunately, get to visit the community pool or any other amenities for the location, but everyone had an amazing time between visiting downtown Galena and having fun at the house. Plenty of games and toys for the family to play! We're hoping to be able to book this location again for next year, the kids are already asking about it!

Christmas break

The home was just as described. It provided everything we needed. Plenty of space to gather when we wanted and to get away from each other at the end of the day. The indoor community center and hot tub were a plus! 2 year old granddaughter loved finding the toy boxes!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Star gazers house definitely has some cool features, we liked the star gazers bed/area, fuseball table and skee ball. But unfortunately the house had some other issues - when we came in first night the and whole house had an awful smell (hard to describe like sewage mixed with cleaners), we tried hot tub next and it gave all of my family itchy skin and minor rashes, so I’m guessing hadn’t been cleaned or chemical treated in awhile. I would not recommend this house.
