The Orca Inn was perfect for a drop your bags and pass out situation - which is exactly what we needed. Our room was not one we could hang out in but it was totally fine for one night before our kayaking trip. We got in after they office closed but they made it easy to get into the room and called to let us know, additionally the staff member I spoke to was kind and pleasant. I would have given a higher rating if the mini fridge had worked but it was not cold and had a bit of a smell. However, the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay again for the same sort of situation.

very clean and convenient location. Love it and will be back

This is a discount hotel it is way lower than anything in town. If you want quiet and a good bed go for it. Room is tiny.

The hotelroom looks poor and realy small rooms. Not all the lamps where working properly.

There were little green bugs in our bed, and the hotel is a little far away from all the main things. It wasn't expensive but very small room too.

I didn't book this hotel to stick around and hang out at the place. I booked it to literally sleep. It wasn't great and it wasn't awful. It could definitely use updates. There was a microwave and a fridge in the room. No coffee though. The room was super tight. I normally do a workout when I wake up but there wasn't even enough room for me to do that. When I first arrived there was no one at the front desk so I waited about ten minutes until someone finally came....even after I rang the bell multiple times. Then the lady, super nice, didn't really know how to check me in. She's like I'm training but I'm the landscaper. She didn't even tell me about wifi or where my room was. I had to find it all my self. The gentleman that ended up randomly appearing helped her put my card in correctly to charge me for the room. Like I said wasn't awful, but wasn't great.

This older but, well kept motel is within walking distance to/from the ferry. It is clean and affordable. It is my go to spot when visiting friends on San Juan Island.

Very, very nice staff. Comfy beds. Accommodating. Will be staying there again.

Good value. Nice location. Clean. The only downside is that the mattress was not comfortable so staying more than 1 night could be tough on old backs.

Small room but clean one OK. No coffee pot and every thing closed except tourist traps. So no ebony coffee.

This was just what we needed with a queen bed, microwave and shower under $100 in Friday Harbor in May. It was good to have a room to crash before our whale watching tour :)

Stayed here for two nights. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was a king, although small it was perfect for what we needed and an absolute bargain compared to everywhere else. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for bikers and hikers. Not fancy but good for a short stay for why you have gone to the San Juan Islands.

We enjoyed our stay. Room is small but adequate and very clean. Good value !

No frills hotel, more of a mom and pop place. Loved Cheryl that was running the place, she was super helpful. They don't have hair dryers in rooms, but will gladly give you one to use during your stay. They also don't have an ice machine on the premises, but you can grab a bag in town and keep in your room frig. The hotel is in a nice quiet place and shops and restaurants are a short walk away. So, not many amenities. . you get what you pay for, but we enjoyed our stay.

If you plan on enjoying all the island has to offer, and just need a place to sleep, The Orca Inn is awesome. The owners/managers were both very nice & accommodating- especially the woman. She was super nice, friendly and helpful. The room (deluxe queen) was perfect- extremely clean & safe, and plenty of room. The beds were comfy. The price was awesome. We were pleased and opted to stay again on a whim as we had so much fun we just couldn't leave as planned. Ill definitely recommend this place to friends/family.

Oh, I'm sorry your mini fridge wasn't working correctly. They sometimes reach their life span and we don't always know until someone tells us so we can change it out. Thank you so much for staying with us!
