It’s very spacious, great location and friendly service
The description still includes coffee shop/restaurant, neither of which has been operating for at least 2 years(except for venue rentals I think). Cockroaches (1” long) in my room. One of the cockroaches ran across my bare foot in the dressing area. Carpet is dirty, bedding looks “iffy”, amenities are absolutely minimal, shower has only a small non-slip mat and the rest of shower floor gets very slippery, coffee stirrers are unwrapped, mattresses are broken down on the sides and really need to be replaced, iron had melted nylon on sole plate, and the whole room looked so dreary and worn out. I had lived in Visalia over 40 years and this place had a decent reputation. Apparently, owner and management don’t care about the property or their guests. My advice; if you think booking here to save money is worth it, think again. Spend a bit more for one of the better places that offer breakfast, and cleaner, comfortable rooms. THAT evens things out a lot! I have stayed her 3 times in the last 2 years, and in different “Garden Rooms”, each one much worse than the last. I will NEVER stay here again, NEVER recommend it to ANYONE!! Just AWFUL!
Excellent customer service, nice garden pool & breakfast great value & nice landscape
The staff went backwards to get another room for us when we told her the our TV remote disappeared.
It was quiet, well maintained, cute and amazingly priced
It was delightful place. Room was roomy and clean. Beds were VERY comfortable. Plenty of parking and parking lot was clean. Clean bathroom with good water pressure. Easy on/off freeway without being right next to it. Close and easy access to several restaurants and grocery store. Completely enjoyed my stay.
Nice looking property. A hint of New Orleans garden district came to mind. Air conditioning situation stinks. You do not control the temperature in your room they do and it was hot. I wound up driving to Wal Mart and buying a box fan to stop sweating. Took a cold shower instead of hot to prevent steam and risk getting the room hotter and muggy.
We arrive at 5pm to check-in, were told we would have to wait 30 mins (even though or check-in time was 1pm)
neither comfortable nor clean
Beautiful grounds. Rooms average, but clean. Lots of doors (my room had two, plus a sliding glass door) so if that bothers you be aware. Over pleasant experience for the price.
overpriced for being so old and out of date. Only an on and off switch for heat. No A/C. Walls are also paper thin and the bed will shake from neighbors. It is also loud and off a main road
Convenient location, near restaurants and the freeway. Room was clean. No AC, the ceiling fan did little to cool the room, no hairdryer and a severe lack of electrical outlets. The restaurant was only opened for limited hours. The person in the next room was smoking outside the door and stubbing the cigarettes out on the floor so ashtrays would be nice too. Friendly staff. Okay place to stay for a night.
It has a nice court yard. Door to the parking lot and a door to the court yard.
Very expansive property. Nice rooms, very clean. Mine was 2nd floor. Staff was friendly. Shower could use some re-grouting, and AC temp control was ineffective (ended up just switching it off). WiFi very slow at my location.
The staff was fabulous. The AM coffee a godsend. Did not like that not all rooms have microwave or mini fridge
