Nice Hotel, clean, friendly staff and close to the Messe. However our air conditioner did not work well most of the time leaving the room very hot. The shower did some funky things where the hot water would shut off after a few minutes, the door handle on the bathroom door kept falling off and the freight train would wake us up a number of times each night. However for the price the condition of the hotel was good and with a location we would stay again on a business trip.

I normally stay in the financial district the rates are so high right now thought I would try the TYRP what a great choice just steps to the trolly/rail 3 stops from the main train station and 6 to the financial district the hotel staff could not of been any better
Room size is small, just wide enough to accommodate the single bed and a chair, but is functional. The décor was not welcoming, but the room was clean. The location is best suited for business as its near the edge of the city, closer to businesses. A 30-40 minute walk takes you to the center and tourist areas. Overall, not sure what makes it a 4 star hotel, but personally, 3 (average) would do fine.
Even though the hotel is right by the train tracks we could barley hear the trains at all. Located right next to the train stop for easy access to the rest of the city.
The hotel is kind of hard to locate because it situated in a very busy area. Especially if you are driving. It took me 5 turn around to find the car park after finding the hotel. When you check in, staff are friendly and rooms are clean and well laid out. The problem I had was the rail track that pass right by my room window. If you don't mind the occasional train passing by, the location is very good with the city rail system and lots of buses right in front of the hotel. For the price I'm paying, it's real value.

The staff tried to be helpful; as the drain was slow in the shower of the first room, and when they couldn't figure out how to flip the breaker to on after I blew a fuse with my power converter, they switched me to another room, which worked well. There wasn't A/C in the rooms, but Frankfurt is normally a mild climate. The noise from the trains and the street doesn't bother me, but it might bother someone not expecting it. The price was extremely reasonable, the location isn't bad.

Most of our rooms are very spacious and have more than 30 square meters. These are our Business or Superior rooms. You might choose one of these rooms next time.
