The hotel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by plenty of shopping and places to eat. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is due to the parking being a little further away then I would like but it would’nt stop me from staying there again.
The location is perfect 2 minuets from railway station inside the old city. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. WiFi is stable and free of charge. Breakfasts are very delicious. But price is rather expensive
This was my 4th year staying at Victoria for Toy Fair. As always, a very nice hotel and atmosphere! One difference I noticed this year, was at breakfast, the servers (new faces?) we're slow to clean the tables for new guests, and they forgot to ask if I wanted a coffee.
I stayed here in December prior to boarding a river cruise. The hotel is right next to main train station just inside the city wall. Location was a short walk to the Christmas Market, shops and restaurants. Staff were very welcoming, room had good amenities and a good selection at breakfast. Thoroughly recommend.
The location is very convenient when travelling by train. Next to that the city center is around the corner. The hotel front desk was very friendly, the room was nice and clean and the breakfast was excellent.
Fantastic location with exceptionally helpful and attentive staff. Really comfy beds and pillows ensured a proper sleep and an amazingly varied and plentiful breakfast buffet was a great start to our days.. Suited our needs perfectly, thanks.
If you want to visit Nuremberg this is the best choice. Clean, close to the train station, Good breakfast and kindly people working. Close to the most famous attractions. The price is very fair. If I need to return I'm sure I will be hosted in this hotel.
good location, near the train station and shopping area, also many restaurants there. Breakfast is various with choices, and there are some hot food like fried egg, bacon, sausage. I like to stay at this hotel especially in winter time.
Hotel Victoria is very charming hotel, conveniently located right to the Handwerkerhof and across from the train station, which can be accessed through an underground passage rather than crossing the streets. While there are a few steps to get into the main entrance (I didn't explore whether there was wheelchair accessibility), there is an elevator for the weary like me! The hotel staff were all very friendly and provided me with helpful guidance when necessary. The breakfast buffet was very diverse (it had American-style bacon) and being there near the Christmas holiday, the wait staff had placed bows underneath some of the coffee cups and, upon finding one at my table, they gave me a gift with a few small souvenirs inside. I really love small touches like this. My room was a good size and the bathroom looked like it had been recently updated, best of all having a heated floor! I wanted to take a nap there. My room was also situated directly across from the Neues Museum, giving me a nice view of the exhibits on that side. Being somewhat on the older side, I might consider it quite a walk all the way to the Kaiserburg from the hotel, even though I did it at least once, I would consider the hotel within walking distance to most of the sights within the old town area. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Victoria very much and would happily stay there again.
This hotel is at the entrance to the forted, old town of Nuremberg. Walking distance to the Christmas market, lined with beautifully restored buildings and coble streets. Although the rooms were small, we were lucky to locate this hotel during our quick stay in Nuremburg on Christmas Eve. The breakfasts, included with the rooms, are delicious. There was even champagne - nice way to start the day. Parking is down the street and not inconvenient. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English. Definitely would stay there again
