The lady at the front desk was very nice. But they have people that live there and i was on the main floor the people above me was up all night sounded like they was going to come through the ceiling the bathroom floor was dirty there wasnt a battery in the smoke detecor in my room. The whole place stunk of cigarettes. There were a couple of young guys hanging out in the stairwell, smoking and drinking, grinding their cigarettes out on the carpet. My room was on the third floor and the elevator wasnt working. I was in town to exchange a synthesizer, worth a couple thousand dollars. I didnt feel safe carrying it up three flights, past the young men. Didnt feel safe, so i parked where i could keep an eye on my stuff from my room. I decided to cancel my second night, because i was able to take care of my business and drove home, rather than stay somewhere that stunk and felt unsafe. The common areas of the motel were dirty. Carpet looked like it hadnt been vacuumed for a week or more. All of the furniture looked like it dated back to the '70's. My mattress was soft, soft, soft. Paper thin walls let me eavesdrop on my neighbor, who was using the bathroom at the same time i was in the morning. The desk staff was efficient, if not friendly. If you look at the picture frame of the art in my room, you will have a pretty good idea of the condition of everything else on the premises.
