We hadn't planned on staying at Residence Inn, but our normal hotel couldn't accommodate us while in Ft. Wayne. The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable. We ended up being glad we stayed as we brought in cake for a birthday, and had plates, forks, etc.! It worked out perfectly. The front desk staff was very nice, and very appreciative of our business. Explained how things worked with Marriott points so we understood reasoning behind things. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

I would have given this 5 stars but this place is in bad need of a new makeover in the rooms. Outdated and worn out. But let me talk about the staff, the woman checking us in gave a lot to be desired she was rude and did not even want to help, but the rest of the front desk staff was fantastic, every night out of the 4 nights we stayed was go good that we felt like we could overlook the rest. The night person was a wonderful man, he told jokes with my grand kids, helped them get the basketballs to play, he was wonderful the morning staff was just as great! We only had the one complaint on staff, the worn interior really does need upgraded we have spent several trips in the brand and by far this was the most worn we ever spent. When thinking about out check in, we had reservations and we were a little early, but I did the mobile check in and was told that doing this would let them know we were going to be there and only being about a half hr early should have been ok, but the woman working was very smart with me, rude very rude, saying that I had not did the mobile check in even after I showed her i had on my phone she still stated I had not arguing with me. She called the housekeeping they said they would get back with her,(we could hear them) she told me over an hr, then they radio her back told her half hr. She was so mad I had herd this she huffed and when I asked if I could go ahead and pay she said NO, I did not want in but I was not confident she would even save my room being she could not treat me with respect.

I stayed at SW location on Jefferson Ave Ft. Wayne Indiana from Aug 8 2016- October 8th 2016 and reserved through May 2017, that is a 10 month stay. I stay in hotels roughly 350 nights a year. After 12 weeks, I stopped at front desk to pick up parts shipped to me to fix robots at GM plant. The manager said my card declined for that week, they charge my card at beginning of week, every week. They did not contact me, call room, email, personal cell....Nothing. I said, OK, My company HR wont be in til Monday morning and I will definitely have it cleared up, He refused, Would not give me the parts shipped to me, as to hold them hostage?? Then refused to let me in the room either. Long story short, I slept in my rental car for 2 days until Monday, Cleared up the situation, Gave him a few choice words and checked out. When you live in hotels and travel 350 days a year there will be times things of this nature happen with cards. Most see my rewards programs status Executive Elite, 350 nights a year and are understanding, as I am of their situation. Never have I been treated like that in the 6 years I have lived in hotels. I had a $40,000 reservation and he disrespects me and handles it like that over $700, I checked out and gave remaining $28,000 to the hotel next door! Nice hotel, All other staff are great, good location, close to food, gas stations, walmart and so on. Other than the Manager experience I was satisfied with the stay and experience!

The suite is outfitted with a kitchen, and is supplied with coffee, tea and a single microwave popcorn to the room. The bedroom has bedside tables on both sides and good reading lamps that are accessible while in bed. There is a safe and ironing supplies. A table with two chairs and a desk with a desk chair are available as well as a sofa with a side table that can be moved. There is a TV in both the living and the bed rooms. Room darkening drapes as well as privacy drapes are nice. Breakfast was OK but not sumptuous. Staff members are friendly and helpful. There are food stuffs available for sale including a small selection of foods that are easily cooked.

We recently visited here for a wheelchair basketball tournament. Although we stayed 20 minutes away from the venue, I was really happy with the place. The rooms are very spacious with a separate sleeping suite. Although we did not cook there, there is a full kitchen with refrigerator if you are going to be in the area for a while. The hot breakfast in the morning was a bonus. The staff was very friendly nd the building and grounds were very clean. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good stay... great service. Check in was easy and very courteous. Breakfast was very good. Location was easy to find. Close to area restaurants that we wanted to go to and shopping so that made it that much better.

Very clean, was quiet, nice rooms, friendly staff, had yummy soft cookies at check in :-), nice size indoor pool & hot tub (we didn't utilize), small work our room but it would do the job, the breakfast was very good-hot, healthy options & fresh fruit. We'll definitely be staying here again our next over night trip to Ft Wayne.

We now routinely choose this location to stay. The continental breakfast is above average with a great selection, and the hotel staff are first class! They deliver the same service that I would expect from a high-end hotel and it does not go unnoticed! The room amenities are so convenient- fridge, stove, microwave, sink - we always get the suite and so it has a fireplace as well. Just feels like our home away from home!

Great property. Clean and updated. Housekeeping keeps things shining. Nathan is great running the front. His recommendations have been spot on! The food is good, the evening mix is always fun. Love the overall offerings of the location.

In January this year our family stayed in four rooms in a block at the Marriott Residence Inn. Every member of staff was friendly and accommodating! The rooms are set up in "apartment" fashion with full-sized refrigerators, stove, microwave and sink --not to mention dishwasher! Our family weekend was spent laughing and enjoying each others' company since all the other stuff was handled! Breakfast was awesome and the pool a nice size to accommodate weekend traffic. Well done, Marriott!
