Some issues with the room. It's basically a get what you pay for room. Small, crappy rooms no view but a strip club and trucking parking lot. Very friendly staff just a sleep and go spot. Our blankets had burn holes in them, trash under bed in corners and our sink leaked to the floor not down pipes. We had no water pressure to even wash soap out and lighting was horrible. My phone flashlight was 10x brighter.
The Front staff desk are polite and friendly.....I think they have lazy maids I stayed 2 nights and they only took trash the maids are lazy they didn't make beds didn't vacuum and he'll couldn't even leave toilet paper I can tell u they leave a tip envelope but they can't even clean a room no tip from us.....
There literally is a strip joint in the same parking lot. I felt I had to watch my back the whole time I was there. There were people drinking beer out in the parking lot and smoking weed. Theory side door to my hotel could be yanked open without a key. Never again. Oh yeah, somebody smoked in my room and smelled really bad. It as a non smoking room.
Where should i start the we came in from Michigan and internet was not working we were told it was down in the area. Bathroom was dirty there was hair le ft in the tub also the shower curtians have stains on them. There was visible mold in the ceiling of the bathroom. Above the bed the paint was chip and falling down. The blankets and sheets had stains on them. Im waiting to here back from the manager. I also have pictures of all these things.
The covers were not clean, the lady at the front desk needs help, the microwave did not work nor the fridge. The toilet was not clean nor the bathroom. It smelled the heat did not work and we had to walk to the front desk for utensils
I have stayed in plenty of hotels over the last twenty years but this is the best one for the price. Even though I arrive late, the clerk was still smiling and seemed happy to see me. Great price too!
I stayed here over Thanksgiving since my dogs aren't allowed in my Sister's house. I usually love red roofs when traveling with my dogs so I didn't read reviews when I booked. I got there around 11:30 pm very tired. I was given a room key and walked down to the room. Opened the door with my key, and the room was already "in use". Hence the title. After quickly shutting the door and beating a hasty retreat I went back to the front desk. They quickly got me a new room, right next to the old one. All night long the noise brought back images....again, somethings can't be unseen. The room itself had an awful chemical smell (my eyes were totally blood shot in the morning and it took a lot of cleaning with saline solution before my contacts were able to go in). The heating unit had the front broken off, although it did work sporadically. The floor was just gross with spots and stains my dogs found enticing However, at that point it was midnight, and it was better than sleeping in my car (barely...but the dead bolt lock made me feel safer than sleeping in my car in that area). Needless to say, my recommendation would be a tent in a park over this hotel, even if in a blizzard! I really need to get a travel camper.
I am a regular roofer and I can honestly say this is the first time I had no major complaints. Other than the TV being unplugged and cable cord not connected it was clean and guest service was adequate I would definitely return to this establishment
I cancelled other reservations at another hotel because someone told me the RR was newly renovated, and the cost was half the other place. Well, the price was definitely less, but was it worth it? Our keys rarely worked, and never for one door. The a/c worked every other day, and there were no dial settings to know how to adjust. We had to beg--and wait--for towels, some of which were like sandpaper. The room was pretty clean except for the atrocious carpet. No bare feet on that one! Parking was ridiculous. For two buildings with rooms, there wasn't nearly enough. I parked in the strip club next door one evening, under a light, and hoped for the best. And, one evening, I was walking my dog and swore I heard a gunshot. That was the end of that walk! Recent renovations? I never found any.
Room was barely adequate. Broken lampshade did not keep the light from working, for example. Food was from a vending machine, except for the coffee which was oddly enough outstanding. Go to the Liberty Diner for breakfast.
