Stay here for one night on business, the staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I would have liked to seen the Jacuzzi a little warmer. I would have liked to seen a plug at the side of the bed for charging of phone, the room lacked places to charge laptops and phones I had to unplug a lamp. The breakfast was very basic.
Super clean, smelled good, not must or dusty smell. Staff was helpful, and breakfast area was clean and bright. WIFI was fine. Breakfast itself was perfectly typical. My daughter's volleyball team stayed there and everyone seemed to be very happy with the hotel. The pool is fairly small and the hot tub is pretty standard with 6 lower back jets. Both are wheelchair accessible with side mounted lifts. Several restaurants are within walking distance, from Chipotle to sushi and habatchi.
It is t often you find yourself greeted by such a pleasant and helpful associate, anywhere. Thinking it was a Wednesday in Fort Wayne I didn't expect sold out hotels. Jessica at reception was terrific. Not only did she try to find out any available hotels for me but ran out to me to let me know they just had a cancellation, saving me another 35 minutes on the road tonight and in the morning. If this is the level of service adhered to by all employees here, I'll be sure not to make the mistake of not booking here in advance on future visits. Thanks Jessica.
Visited for a one night stay. i had a great rate. The hotel is in a great location right off the freeway. It has many restaurants, fast food and a grocery store within walking distance. There is free parking. The check in was quick and professional. The lobby is just the typical Fairfield Inn Suite. The elevator and hall way has some signs of dating and wear and tear. The room was standard with frig, microwave and iron. The bathroom was roomy and had a good stream. The bed was comfortable. The TV had a good reception. I used the gym, it is small with 3 cardio machines. They have a swimming pool and whirlpool. They had a laundry for guests. Oddly, we needed a bottle opener but they did not have one available. The breakfast was the standard egg, sausage, cereals and bread. The coffee was very good.
The hotel is located on a loop road. Google maps initially took me 15 miles to another property. After finding this one, good luck finding a way in. The reservation was paid for, yet my room selection wasn't honored. As a late arrival, they gave it away. Front clerk was not too smart. manager simply said sorry, heres a key, we will figure the bill out later. Room was clean (weird shapee for a marriott property) but clean. Housekeeping staff gets high marks. Bfast, usual and ok. Bill was correct in the am. Just not a great start, low marks for desk staff. Arrival in bright sunlight will help with this. Marriott has little info other than the mailing address.....
We stopped in as a brief overnight pause on a long road trip. Every associate I interacted with was incredibly polite and responsive. The room was adequate and on par with other Fairfield Inns. I would stay here again.
Just an average place. The good. The spa worked and was hot. The service was very good. The average. Breakfast. the food on the warmers were cold. No water in breakfast area. No microwave to heat things up. The bad. Beds and pillows are mushy. Almost every channel on the TV was fuzzy.
Stayed here for one night after getting into FWA fairly late, and with a 3.5 hour drive into Michigan ahead of me. Pleasant enough staff. The room felt old and tired, and very generic. This felt more like a Red Roof Inn or something than anything from the Marriott brand. There was almost no decor in the room at all. The location is a little hard to get to. It worked for a quick one night utility stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again, even for a similar convenience stay; I'd probably try another property, even one outside the Marriott brand.
One night while traveling for business. This hotel, not far from I64, seemed easy to get to. However the rabbit's warren of secondary roads are confusing and no signs to mark the way. Google maps directions are incorrect. At any rate, room was clean and again Fairfield basic. Not too many places to eat around, but a good Applebee's about a 1/ 4 mile away. No desk help most of the time, and the coffee cups in the lobby had the wrong size lids. Good sleep and quiet. Cost was reasonable with the accommodations. Left early and missed the breakfast.
This was a quick overnight trip this week for an early morning medical procedure in Fort Wayne. As is always the case, the fairfield Inn was exactly what I needed. It is a new property that is kept very well by the staff. They called me early in the day to see if I needed anything upon arrival and then did a great job of checking me in. No breakfast on this trip for me as i had to be out the door before breakfast was served. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fort Wayne. It is close to the venues for youth basketball and hockey tournaments, close to hospitals, shopping, etc.
