We had the most relaxing few days at this condo! The complex is very quiet and has a ton of great features. The condo was very well stocked with items that we needed to make the trip easier. Everything was clean and prepared for us at check-in. The ample bath towels were very helpful and appreciated. We will definitely choose this location again and again.

Best view for the price

The condo itself is beautifilly decorated and the location can't be beat. We stayed here when summerncrowds slowed so it felt private sometimes. I would stay here again.

We loved everything about our week on Okaloosa Island. The location was great. The condo was perfect. It appeared to be newly updated and everything was clean and fresh. The beach was not very crowded since it’s a smaller building and not a huge high rise like other locations. I would 100% stay here again.

This condo is top tier, normally you would nees to bring some things. This place had more kitchen utensils than you could ever need, well stocked, it even had sand toys and boodie boards for the kids. Excellent view to relax to sound and view of the waves and sunrise/sunsets. Will look into coming back my whole family loved it and also being close to Stewbies for dinner.

Clean & Well maintained

The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. Every appliance is in working order and the A/C works great. Property is well maintained. Stewby’s across the street is the best meal around. At the best price around. I did have to call to check out, directions say to check out on the Happy Stays app, but wasn’t able to find it there…. Otherwise, all instructions about property are well communicated.

Everything you've been looking for!

What a great trip! Gorgeous views! With this being a top floor it was so nice to not have anyone above us. I didn't think about it at the time of booking but the pool is not directly underneath the condo which made it very quiet. The condo was extremely well equipped. The kitchen was very well stocked. I really appreciated all the extras in the condo for our kids. We will definitely be back! Just some additional notes: Several around us were smoking out on their balconies which was not enjoyable but not any fault of the condo. One other note, the king bedroom could probably use new pillows. Last thing- it would have been nice to know ahead of time there was no filtered watered from the fridge as the tap water was not drinkable.

Wonderful stay!

This unit had everything we needed. The a/c worked great. The kitchen was well stocked. Having a washer/dryer in the unit is a must, and the laundry room gave us an area to store boogie boards/beach bags. The living room and master b/r open to the balcony and the beach - what a gorgeous view! We spent so much time out there just enjoying the scenery. The room with the bunk beds is small, but actually sufficient even for the two teen girls who shared it. Beds were really comfy. The unit was clean. Some things will eventually need refreshed - the bedroom carpet has seen some wear, for example. Having it tiled eventually would be very nice - but everything was serviceable. Underground parking was a great perk too. Gulf Dunes is in a great location. it is within easy walking distance of shops, activities, and food. (Stewby's Seafood Shanty is literally across the street - it's a must-visit!) The elevators at Gulf Dunes felt a little sketchy - sometimes a few extra squeaks and bounces on the ride but hey - if it makes you too nervous, walking the stairs is great exercise. :-) Otherwise the property was kept nicely. Walkway to the beach is composite decking so no splinters in your feet to worry about. Pool area was maintained daily. We had a wonderful visit and are excited to go back! Great condo, highly recommended

Unit 612 at Gulf Dunes was very spacious, clean, modern and well-equipped with supplies. It comes with its own covered parking, which was definitely a plus as not all units have covered parking. Someone did park in our parking spot one night during our stay but that was not the fault of the unit owner or Sunset Rentals. The reserved parking spaces are very clearly marked with unit numbers. I just wish that Gulf Dunes security handled incidents like this better. This happened late at night and we called the after hours security number on site to report it but we got no response whatsoever. We did not bother calling Sunset because we do not believe that was their fault. Overall though, we had a very pleasant stay and would stay again.

Very nice!

Loved the view of the beach from the balcony. All four of us could sit outside and enjoy it. There was plenty of room inside the condo for four adults (my husband, our two adult "kids" and me). Although the condo comes with the daily beach service for two I think it would be such a nice touch if Sunset Rentals could also include two extra beach chairs in the condo that could be used. There are some floats, boogies boards, etc. in the laundry room closet, but no extra beach chairs. Maybe people that drive bring their own, but we flew in. They don't need to be expensive, large, or anything fancy. We loved the location and also enjoyed a couple of home cooked meals using the well-equipped kitchen. It's a very nice, clean, comfortable place to stay with a wonderful view. It's fun to walk to nearby restaurants such as the Crab Trap and Rockin' Tacos.

Great beach vacation

Much nicer than photos. Roomy and well thought out accommodations. Wished the air conditioning was more efficient. Even following posted instructions couldn’t get it to cool below 77degrees. Thank goodness for ceiling fans. Had to buy a fan for bunk room.

1st Time at the Beach

The condo was immaculate! It had plenty of room plus a beautiful view of the beach. The kitchen was stocked very well with items for cooking. Extremely quiet and peaceful.

A bit disappointed.

Stayed in the area before and the location is great. Unit 612 was nicely equipped but carpets were dirty and need a good cleaning. The unit directly below was being renovated and indoor time was not enjoyable. Did not enjoy the demo wake-up call. Saws and banging started at 7:30 am. Finally called and was told it should be done by Friday (the day we left), they work 8-5 and no control over it. Then, there was “scheduled maintenance” in the middle of our stay which amounted to entering the unit to change a filter. There was ample time to change a filter before/after our stay. It was unnecessary and intrusive. The west side beach/pool men's & women's restrooms were “out of order” 5/7 days we stayed. It was a huge inconvenience!! Each unit comes with 2 beach chairs/1 umbrella. The chairs/umbrellas were never full but families were made to pay for a second set even though they were not needed by other guests and literally remained unoccupied the entire day. Don't feel we got our money's worth.
