Nice hotel on fort Myers beach. Room clean and nice amenities. Bed was on the hard side for me, but my mother found it comfortable. The gulf is a good walk from hotel. Pinchers food was excellent, especially the breakfast that was delivered to the room and worth the money. All staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay again.

Very nice hotel on the white sand beach. Enjoyed the amenities and the staff were very nice. Restaurant, pool, bar and Tiki hut with entertainment also help to make the stay very enjoyable.

My wife and I took a week getaway to Ft. Myers Beach to enjoy walking the beach, shelling, laying out, swimming and boating and dining out at the great restaurants in the area. We were pleasantly surprised at the Wyndham. Our pool front room on the second floor was wonderful. Clean, comfortable bed, and great views of the sunsets and gulf while we would sit outside of our room on our two chairs. The bands every night in the restaurant downstairs were very entertaining and fun. Great musicians, talented and lively. The pool was large and very nice as well. We had been to FMB in November 5 months prior and we liked the room better and pool is much larger and nicer at Wyndham than at the Outrigger. We will definitely be back to Wyndam. Stunning sunsets every night. Very friendly staff and guests.

Been coming back for ten years. Always a pleasant stay.

This is a great hotel with an outside bar, a band playing every night, right on the beach. We had a pool side room on the ground right next to the bar. I was a little concerned how late the band would play since it was right outside our room, but they were usually done by 9 so that was nice. The staff was very nice and everything was very clean and comfortable. Overall a great experience for our first trip to Ft Myers.

This older but immaculately clean hotel has become an annual favorite when coming down for spring training. Nice pool but gorgeous section of the beach a short walk across the sand. Having the restaurant and tiki bar on the property means you never have to leave but the hotel is a short drive to plenty of tourist attractions and great places to eat. Staff keeps everything clean; plantings could use an update. Love this place! Always fun to see Henry the mascot too!

Hotel stay was 3/9-3/13. Great experience! Direct access to a really big beach which had very nice, clean smooth sand. The Tiki bar and pool were great, especially the pool because the gulf water was on the cold side. Not overcrowded at all. The Tiki bar had liive music every night plus happy hour all day, every day (2 for 1 so $8 for 2 margaritas or 2 beers). Had several meals at Pincher's restaurant (on site). Reasonably priced and the shrimp tacos were AWESOME. Fresh fish meals were terrific (ie, grouper sandwich and mahi mahi sandwich, both batter fried) as was their fettucini alfredo. Breakfast was good, too. Very convenient for us was the # of other businesses within walking distance (ie, CVS was only about a block away for snacks & sun screen; reasonably priced movie theater was about 1/4 mile away; other restaurants as well). Room rate was a bit higher than we were hoping for, but the beach access & hotel accommodations made it worth it. We would definitely stay here again!!

Had a pleasant trip here the week before college spring breaks began. Two Pinchers restaurants on site, so made it convenient if we didn’t want to venture out into busy traffic for a quick bite to eat. Live music nightly at the Pinchers outdoor Tiki bar. Our room was far enough away from the volume that we could enjoy it without being overwhelmed with sound. Great location directly on the beach, but be prepared for a long trek to the actual water. Luckily, the sand is soft and white, so it won’t burn your feet. Disappointed there are ashtrays outside of rooms/balcony’s. We thought a smoking area would be in one location in front of the hotel. Smoke easily drifts from one room to another. It was ok for us, but we heard other guests complain about it. Rooms were average, but clean . Furniture in fair condition as well as the bed. Most of the time we were out of the room because of beautiful weather, so it did not factor heavily into our trip. Beach chairs can be rented daily. A bit pricey for us, so we bought our own and an umbrella at a local store. Passed them on to another guest as we were leaving. Pool is clean and adjacent to the tiki bar, which opens at 11 and gets crowded fast. Overall good trip. We would return again.

Continent airport location. Very comfortable room. Home like feel. Can't go wrong with free warm breakfast.

The front desk staff were excellent! Especially Jessica Portalatin, Tanya Phillips and April Rinaldi. They arranged an extra 2 nights when our flight cancelled. They truly are an asset to Wyndham Hotels!

Hotel was fine, staff was friendly. We just stayed one night. It is just outdated but regardless of that decent.

Very nice Tiki bar, and restaurant. Great location. Had a gig at the Woman’s Club of Ft Myers Beach, only 3 minuets away, oh I forgot to mention I impersonate Sean Connery, great weekend gig, and the Stay at the Wyndham on the Beach , couldn’t have been better.

the hotel was just what you pay for-it was decent- not a top end hotel but not a dump either- has all you need- huge beach-restaurant-bar-pool- staff were all pleasant- about 4 miles or so from the pier area so need to drive if you are going there for the night life-we were not at the hotel much- so was a good deal for us- i would stay again and recommend it to friends- as long as you know its not a top end place-

The room was a little small, thought we were getting a King Deluxe per our booking but got a King standard. I guess because of the Sand Castle Competition they were booked. Thankful it ended the following day as parking was a nightmare and we were told if we left anywhere we would have to pay to park when we came back?? I will check the dates of next year's competition before booking. The staff was awesome and the food was good.

Room 226 experienced noise like furniture moving at varied times. Every day I was there at 3am particularly I believe it was from the employees storage room believe. It woke us up. The air conditioner made wierd noises in operation mode. Otherwise we were fine.

We loved this place very nice all around great beach and food and the room was nice and big..

I was there in October 2017, I had fantastic weather. The Hotel right by the beach and the bar is also with a pretty view. I loved it there my room was big enough to fit 4 people in there and the outdoor picknick area was clean and quite pretty as well

They have a great little bar/restaurant in the center of the hotel. Great food and John the bartender is a great host

Other travel plans were unexpectedly cancelled, so this was a last minute trip to get away to the beach. This place was a perfect place for a low key and relaxing beach week. Clean and comfortable. Good location on the beach. Pretty good out door restaurant and bar on site to watch great sunsets with a meal and a cocktail. I recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for a good value on a relaxing beach trip.

The hotel is on the beach, which is nice. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was nice being on the beach with a baby and having to also carry all of the baby's things. The wifi password didn't work which was an inconvenience. The room was clean and staff stayed on top of fresh towels. When I arrived the top sheet of the bed had a sticky substance on it, but room service quickly brought me a fresh top sheet. The fridge and microwave was nice and I was able to keep food in the room. They provided a crib and an extra baby blanket which was nice. The air conditioner leaked water all over the outside of the room but none of it was in the room, however the room seemed a little warm at times even with the air constantly running. They had a band Saturday night, but I was on the other side of the hotel and did not hear the music from my room. Good hotel and room overall.
