This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I would strongly caution others before booking this property.From the moment we arrived, the home was not up to standard. The pool was visibly dirty with debris and cloudy water, which made it unpleasant to use despite being a major feature of the listing. The dishwasher had standing water, the bottom rack was broken, and it did not function properly. There were also general cleanliness issues throughout the home that made it clear the property had not been properly prepared for guests.The most unacceptable part of our stay was a scheduled showing that took place while we were there. Approximately six strangers entered the property while we were inside, including while some members of our group were getting dressed. This was a serious invasion of privacy and completely inappropriate for a rental that is supposed to provide exclusive use of the space. Several members of our group felt so uncomfortable that they chose to leave early.We made multiple attempts to contact the host through the Vrbo messaging system and received no response at all. Even after escalating the issue, the host has taken no responsibility and has declined to provide any refund.Between the condition of the property, the complete lack of communication, and the unacceptable breach of privacy, this experience fell far below expectations. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property to others.
