Communication was very good. The host Gaby was very responsive with any questions I had for her. The place was as advertised in the photos. Perfect for our 3 night stay in Ft Lauderdale. Location was great as it’s very close to the Arts District and Downtown area. Can walk to many surrounding restaurants and also to the Riverwalk. The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. A few negatives that could be easily be fixed which would make this a 5 star rating I personally would recommend additional frying pans for cooking. There was only one of the smallest size pan. Had to cut my bacon in half to get it to fit in the pan. Additional silverware, specifically spoons would be great. The biggest “fix” for this VRBO would be to address the door jamb issue. The lock barely catches and is very loose when closed. If someone wanted to get in it wouldn’t take much. Doesn’t scream “secure” especially while you are out of the place. Once inside there is a deadbolt which makes the door more secure, but only when someone is inside. One side note, the outlets in the bedrooms are not in the most convenient locations but really not a big deal at all. Certainly not a deal breaker. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if in the area.

Do not stay at the rental property

Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to stay in this rental property the days we selected. There were so many things were wrong with vacation rental upon arriving. Upon our arrival the was minimal lighting walking towards the unit . We had to use the flash light on our phone. When we walked up on the unit the door was wide open. We had to search the unit to make sure no one was in the unit. We reached to the host about the door being open, we were told to manipulate the lock by the host/management and the lock did not work. The unit was roach invested. The bathroom was dirty and there were roaches on the towels. The tub faucet did not turn completely off. In our contract we suppose to have a parking space but someone parked in our space and the only other park was on the street which was residential parking. If we would’ve parked we would’ve gotten towed. We reached out to the host/management and we called multiple times. There was no response until we reached out to VRBO the next morning to discuss all of the things that were wrong with the unit and we did not feel safe because the broken lock, along with the unit being roach infested. We left the property immediately and stayed at a near by hotel, which we had to sit in the lobby until the morning time to get a room. Keep in mind that we had an infant traveling with us, which was my grandson. We were inconvenienced in so many ways. This entire experience was a nightmare.
