Flamingo Escape had a wonderful location and a great cozy feel for a family visiting.However, the WiFi/internet was spotty at times (and limited connection), the TV was not working at all, and the coffee maker did not brew coffee or work smoothly.Also, there was a lamp in one of the bedrooms that didn’t work, which was disappointing.The cutlery and serving glasses were limited, and did not serve well for a family of three or more.Overall, our stay was fine, but lacked a balance of everyday use items and electronics.Additionally, we would like to ask for a form of refund due to the lack of working electronics. We reached out to the property manager of the VRBO, but they were not able to help us resolve the technical issues.

The unit was just as listed and provided a comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice location for a stroll to the marina in the waterway. Also close to Las Olas Blvd. Nice little patio outside.

Hanging in Ft. Lauderdale

We needed a place to crash the night before a cruise and I found this little place for me and my parents. Clean, organized, and comfortable. Easy walk to Wal-Greens and a great little restaurant a block and a half away. Gabby is an excellent host and responded to my requests in a timely fashion. Very kind and understanding when my dad leaned too hard on a book shelf. Thank you for everything! Cheers to another stay!

Not a great experience

The rental was not clean when we arrived. There were pubic hairs from previous tenants all over the bathroom. Not to mention there were dirty washcloths still hung in the shower. The shower leaked the whole stay and it was loud enough that we could hear it in the attached bedroom. We could not find towels for the bathroom and our property manager said they would bring some, but they did not. The living room smelled but it was manageable. The overall house was dusty and there were old plant leaves that were not removed. We did try to clean our bowls but there were no cleaning supplies in the rental. The front porch light did not function so it was difficult to see the number pad to get into the rental. This rental has the potential to be great but it was not properly cleaned.

Cozy and comfortable

Nice unit overall. Like the 2 seats at counter for easy dining. Not sure i would want 4 people here but its great for 1 or 2. Safe neighborhood and maybe a 8 block walk to the busy las olas strip. Definitely would stay again
