The Howard Johnson was perfect for an overnight stop as we traveled home for Orlando. The staff were very pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we did not stay for breakfast - we needed to get back on the road. But, we would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast menu was fresh and there was an attendant to replenish items. The coffee was on the weak side. The only protein was cream cheese. I would have loved a cup of yogurt or a boiled egg. Parking was easy. There were some coned off spots, but it was not great lighting for night time arrivals. We had a room on the inner courtyard side of the buildings, making access harder at night, Reading room numbers was challenging. We went to find our room before lugging our luggage. The price was reasonable, but we had a hot breakfast at the motel the night before with better access to our room, and less signs of wear on door frames and exterior of buildings. The bed was comfortable and clean, and so was the bathroom area.

MCM design was nice, but everything was so rundown. The carpet was peeling back. There was a mashed roach on the bathtub. The refrigerator was old and funky on the outside. And the pillows had spots on them. The breakfast was subpar. I had read it had a good breakfast, but there was nothing but toast and bagels and her boiled eggs.
