Hotel was the perfect stay for us in Florence. Quiet area, friendly staff and very large, modern rooms. The area was also safe to walk around at night. Only 5-10 minute walks to major sites. The hotel staff really stood out for us. They were helpfulness in laying out the map and showing us typical routes to see everything. Hotel being family ran business, you could really tell that they care for their customers. Great stay and would highly recommend!!!

Great Location

Lovely hotel in a great location. Good central point to get to all the sites and only 7 min walk from the train station. The rooms are newly remodeled, comfortable and very clean. Hotel staff are very friendly. We had to leave early for a tour one day and they packed our breakfast in to go bags and had them waiting for us before we left.

Great hotel

Excellent hotel. Allowed early check in, rate was good, breakfast was good, bathroom was newly renovated. Only cons- location is a bit outside the city center and the room was small. Overall, an excellent stay!

Charming and helpful staff. I had just down across the world and I was fragile and needed kindness. I am a celiac and they catered for me well. Breakfast time started officially at eight but they didn't mind that I strolled in at 6.30 and had a cup of tea and watched the news. I had a tiny and modest room but it was comfortable and very quiet, so my sleep was uninterrupted. The locality is peaceful and a minute's walk from the Arno, and ten minute's walk from the station along quiet back streets. A great find if you just need peace and friendliness and you're not looking for grandeur.

Overpriced but convenient

Would have preferred to have a full door instead of half a door in the bathroom. The front desk charged me in Usd instead of the local currency in Euro with a 3% markup which I'm a bit upset since settling in Euro would have saved me about $13. There were not enough outlets to charge our phones which were occupied by lamps and TV. The breakfast spread was decent.

Very run down and located in a backstreet-hard to find when you initially get to Florence. Had to get a taxi in the end. Could do with some renovations-elevator was very rickety and dangerous, wall fixtures and fittings need finishing off properly, rooms need better beds.

Not a bad hotel we only stayed one night. It had parking which you were charged for. Good area for near by attractions. The room was spacious clean and tidy. Only bad thing was it had a weird smell. We slept with window open to air it out. Breakfast wasn’t the best but enough to keep you going for a few hours. Not a bad night would probably use again if we were ever to go back to Florence

The one issue is hotel didn’t provide clean towels every morning which I’m used too when away. I had to ask for them. I would stay in the hotel again as the location is good and the staff are so lovely and helpful.
