If you want the ultimate drink on a cool terace this is where you need to go. There are only a few tables, maybe seating for 12 in total but you should make the effort to find it. You will be treated to top class service, beautifully served drinks with nibbles on the side, a cool terrace overlooking the Ponte Vecchio and a cooling breeze. It is quite expensive but worth every cent. We loved it.
Our stay at the Hotel Lungarno was incredible! Simone, Andrea, Agnese, Julia and staff were exceptional. Simone sent us to the best restaurants and arranged a private wine tour for us . Everything at the Hotel Lungarno was amazing . We can't wait to come back . Thank you for making our time in Florence so special and memorable!
If you are looking for the finest experience and best location in Florence go to Hotel Langarno! Simone, Andrea, Julia, Agnese, and all the boys went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. We will be coming back! Club Malibu!!
A very pleasant stay with an excellant team, a room with a terrace overlooking river Arno and Ponte Vecchio, very nice breakfast, a superb restaurant and all that in the heart of the city.. We did not want to leave this wonderful place. We will come again. Thank you very much.
We can't be happier with our stay in Hotel Lungarno, we only wish it is for a longer stay, we were there for 2 days at the end of a trip through Tuscany. At first I was concerned whether the hotel will re-open on time at the beginning of June after it had closed for months for renovation; but when we checked in everything seemed to be in good running order. It is beautiful, tasteful and elegant, with service to match. On top of all this, it's in a very central and convenient location with a million dollar view. I can't ask for more.
As a luxury hotel travel advisor, this stands out as one of our most memorable stays, and I cannot wait to recommend this property to my clients & friends. The Hotel Lungarno is part of the Ferragamo hotel family, and it lives up to that name in style & luxury. The location is ideal, on the River Arno with perfect views of the Ponte Vecchio, and a 10 minute walk to all of the historic galleries and high-end shopping. Their outdoor terrace cannot be beat, and their rooms with balconies & views are beautiful. They just completed a gorgeous renovation, and the entire property couldn't be more chic. We didn't want to leave, and can't wait to return!!
Stayed at the Lungarno the very first night they reopened after a remodel in early June 2017. We received a very pretty room on the non river side of the hotel. Very tastefully decorated, large and comfortable (room 430). The hotel is right on the bank of the river, very close to the Ponte Vecchio and just a short walk to the Duomo and other sights. If you have not been to Florence before it is very old with narrow streets and quite crowded in the city center. The Lungarno is on a narrow street with a very narrow sidewalk, right on the edge of the tourist section so fairly crowded. It is between two bridges, one being the Ponte Vecchio which is quite busy but you can always just use the other bridge if you want a slightly less busy walk. The hotel itself is a boutique style with a restaurant/lounge and small patio on the ground floor and rooms on the upper floors. The river views are beautiful and peaceful, especially compared with the busy city. No
The hotels prime location is what makes me come back, the suite is large and spacious. The wifi is also reasonable. The only drawback is the toilet that needs full renovation, however it is indicated that the hotel is closed for renovation hopefully that includes the toilets. Will further update my review once I have visited again.
Traveling with family we booked two rooms, one being the Presidential Suite and the adjoining double room. The Presidential Suite was extremely large and accommodated two couples and two children. It had everything you could ever want in a suite. The decor was very modern, Italian-style, with no expense spared. It had a large living area with sweeping views of the Arno river and Florence (see photos). The hotel is in a great position and the service was exceptional. The adjoining double room was a good size but was dated and tatty in some areas. We have stayed in the Portrait, across the river, which would be our pick of places to stay in Florence but this hotel was a nice change given we were a large group. For a family or group you can't beat the Presidential Suite.
We picked it for its location, overlooking the Arno River and because it is within an easy walking distance from the highlighted sights of Florence. Elegant and cozy atmosphere with very exceptional views both in public areas and in the suites which have a unique décor with little details here and there making the stay pleasant. Wi Fi throughout complementary and fast. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, but we did not have dinner or lunch here choosing to do it outside where the choice was abundant. Highly recommended!
