Lovely, beautiful Hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, very helpful staff, quite area, a dream come true place, beautiful view, nice food, beautiful bathroom, with lovely touch of Salvatore Ferragamo amenities .
It is my fourth stay at the Hotel Lungarno and I am happy to say there will be no other hotel in Florence that I will stay in. Like a great work of art, the hotel has been recently refurbished and the rooms have been updated. You have iPads, a more modern Lavazza coffee machine that produces the most delicious coffee to start your day. The breakfast buffet is still grand in its offering. The two things that thankfully have not changed at this hotel are its location (near the Arno at the Ponte Vecchio bridge) and its wonderful and attentive staff. Special mention on the staff are Andrea, Fredericka and Simone. In the tradition of grand hotels they are there without hovering and yet you know they are there to attend to your needs and make your visit to Florence truly memorable. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel with a great location the Hotel Lungarno should be at the top of your list.
We stayed recently in the hotel Lungarno with my family and we found it absolutely fabulous! Our room was spacious and the staff of the hotel arranged everything for our baby. Personnel of the hotel is very friendly, everyone was ready to help us and assist in every our need. Concierge explained the best locations in the city and gave a really nice recommendations. And of course the cherry on the top of this hotel is it's spectacular location. Just in the heart of beautiful Florence with the view to the storical Ponte Vecchio, what could be better? 😊 I highly recommend this hotel to every tourist who would really want to enjoy Florence and it's luxury experience.
Just come back from a two night stay here. There are not enough words to describe how amazing this hotel is. It's luxury but in a non-stuffy way; almost as if we were staying in somebody's home. The staff genuinely wanted to give great service. The breakfast is soooo filling! Buffet styled as much as you can eat - and believe me if you've been to Florence you will know you need good breakfast in you for the amount to see in they fantastic city. Our room had a balcony and overlooked the river and the Ponte Vecchio. Arriving as the sun set was a great way to arrive. Luggage was just whisked away and appeared in our room for us. We had a lovely comfy bed which was too good to leave but we knew we had to leave it at some point. We ate and drank at this hotel and one of its partner hotels - the Gallery Arts hotel...you have to check this one out too as it has a fantastic fusion food restaurant with a really fun bar (but reserve a table! this place gets busy!). All too soon we had to leave. But I'd go back here in a heartbeat!
Classy boutique hotel. Great location. Next to republic square. Cathedral close by. Michelin star restaurant. service was great. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Definitely coming back to this hotel
This was my second time at Hotel Lungarno and I would definitely go back again! The location is ideal , the breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There was someone always available to help with restaurant reservation or any questions. The hotel was neat and clean and charming. It is a jewel in the middle of Florence and I highly recommend it!
This was my second stay at the Lungarno hotel: I am a season traveller with high expectations...and I only have praise for this property! Amazing location! 5 min away from my favorite restaurant, helpful and polite staff. This hotel makes you feel like you are staying at a friend's luxurious house. Rooms are well appointed, with a lot of details(eye cream, lip balm..),even the closets smell fabulous!!! A special thank you to Julie(front desk and reception) and manager Ilaria: since I was celebrating a birthday there were fruits and delicacies in my room upon my arrival and a little gift of Toscan tomato sauce jars for me to take home on my departure . I have recommended this hotel to friends and will definitely be back😊
The newly-renovated hotel is luxurious and staffed by friendly, exceptionally talented professionals who made our stay completely wonderful. Surprising fusion menu, beautiful setting, lovely amenities, don't forget the Ferragamo Museum to get the full history of this remarkable empire.
I must admit - Florence’s luxury hotel Lungarno situated over the Arno River captivated my attention on the very first sight. I was, above all, smitten with the extraordinary staff and that is what usually impresses me most as guest, the actual encounter. Since I’ve been a globetrotter for many years now, travelling for business and pleasure purpose likewise, on shorter or longer distances and stays, I can point out that the hotel is serving a sensational breakfast, whilst the excellent bed quality and the linen in the room provide exceptional comfort. These three features are indeed key elements for hotel and accommodation evaluation and this is the hotel that definitely deserves the best possible review.
Being half Italian and having spent a great deal of my youth in Italy as child and working as a guide I’m ashamed to say that it was a first for me in Firenze. Traveling with 86 year old father and my little sister took a trip through Toscana where our trip reached its culmination here. Picking a hotel in a city with ample choices is not obvious but we had our programme set and I had a certain budget (no budget) but maybe my last time to do a trip like this with my father although it goes against all his principles we ended up choosing Hotel Lungarno. In my work and privately I am very privileged with a certain standard of hotel and service level that goes with the price. This hotel reminded of Dukes but slightly bigger a touch of family, perfectly located, people are helpful and super professional. The rooms are gorgeous and very personal. Public are areas are sufficiently big, but not too big to get « big hotel chain ». All in all a very good experience and personally being a cigar smoker a part of the outdoor restaurant could host me while drinking a Brunello Di Montalcino and looking out over the Arno and lights reflecting in it. Access is very cumbersome but worthwhile. We came by car and next time I will leave it at home. Until next time, Arrividerci,
