Good location, room not so bad but very dusty around tv and closet and lots of marks on the walls. TV also had all the cables unplugged and was disconnected from the wall socket. The towels were very nice, and plenty of them, sheets also very nice, but the bed pillows were hard, very flat, and seemed old. The bathroom conditions were very poor and the toilet is practically inside the shower, the shower curtain too short, and there is no better protection to prevent the shower water from soaking the whole bathroom floor while showering, such as a glass partition or door. Sometimes the hotel smelled very nice but other times because of the shared bathroom in the hallway, there was a terrible and unpleasant smell permeating into the hallway and rooms. The walls and doors are thin and the noise level, especially in the very early mornings, (because of the breakfast hour), can be disturbing. The breakfast room is right next to some of the guest rooms with no division. Many guests were using wifi in the breakfast room or entryway as the wifi signal was weak in the rooms. With some slight and other improvements, this hotel could be fantastic and ideal because of its location, price point, and friendly staff!
The staff is super friendly and helpful! Location is great and not far from everything! Perfect if you are there to rest after a day of walking around. If u r coming from the train station,it's only 5-7 min walk. Take an exit to the left from the train station, cross the street, you will see McDonalds to your right. When you reach it,turn left and go all the way down the street for about 5 min until you reach the street where hotel is located.
great location. breakfast not that good and Internet very slow.
Everything was good except the small, tiny bathroom. I couldnt even sit on the wc coz of the wall in front of it. Apart from this, breakfast was ok. Location is ok. It is walking distance to the station.
Just totally regret why I booked and stayed here. Very bad & Tiny room. AC didn't stopped working every 15 minutes. We complained to the front desk and they gave us plastic broken bottle to release the water from AC every 15 minutes. WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! POOR. WHEN WE ASKED FOR ROOM CHANGE staff was like why didn't I complain when I checked in !!!. I said check your log I complained to each and every staff all shift and no body seems to communicate to others. Staff seems to be friendly but looks like owner doesn't seems to be helpful or fix any issues in the hotel. Bathroom was so tiny. Breakfast was Horrible. Overall Terrible experience. We paid lot of money for dump like this. Never recommend any one to go to this hotel.
The 2nd fl walk up is a hike in it's self. The man on duty was like a robot I think he forgot that people have never been to Florence so repeating things 100 times doesn't help if you don't know where you are going. The room was clean but, the shower was a joke. Thank goodness there was a bidet and we washed up in the sink and the bidet. The shower curtin was a gross nasty mess. The location was ok could have been better. I would not go back.
the hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable but the pillows were to thin and the show was a joke and the shower curtain was really gross on the bottom. In the end I just washed up best I could and took a real shower when I got to my next destination. I wont be back.
Location was Ok. It was close to the tourist attractions. However, the hotel amenities were not good. The bed was not comfortable. It was an an old residential place converted to a Hotel. The Hotel is located in the second floor. There are other tenants located in the same building. The hotel does not have a lift and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. The Breakfast area was also too small. It should be considered as a Bed & Breakfast place rather than a hotel.
The hotel room was OK. Only a small walk from the station. The bathroom seems like a closet with a shower and toilet in the same area, and super thin walls... People were super nice and helpful. If can get over that then everything else is OK. Can not say the same for the lower floor hotel, not helpful at all....
Staff was always on site. Room was spotless. Breakfast area well appointed and kept provisioned. We expected some street noise---and got it, but the shutters really subdue well enough most of the time. Relaxed atmosphere. And the 56 stair steps---better than a stair master.
Good: Staff and location. Small hotel with minimal staff, all of whom were very personable and helpful. Well positioned between the train and bus station and the Duomo and other key sites. Challenging: Climbing 2 floors with no elevator was trying - with heavy luggage. Rooms were clean but spartan and in dire need of refurbishing. Zero view, but that was not expected or needed. Breakfast starts only at 8:00 and is below minimal. The general neighborhood is rife with small hotels. I feel I should have done more homework to come up with a better offer for the economical rate that was charged.
