Stayed 4 nights; good location 5-10 minutes walk from the Duomo, 5 minutes to the Academia, and 15 minutes from the central station. Room was clean, even if the decor was a little tired. Good shower, and lovely big towels. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a good choice to build you up for the days sightseeing. Breakfast room was not huge so it was a bit of a squeeze when there was a bus tour party dining at the same time. Our room was towards the rear and was nice and quiet

This hotel is in proximity to all tourist locations and surrounded with good hotels and is the most happening place around. The hotel staff are really good in explaining the inclusions and exclusions with good care and also help in taking you around the city map if needed. Breakfast was good and overall a pleasant stay.

The location was the best thing about this hotel; a short walking distance to The Duomo, restaurants and shops. The rooms, bathrooms and furnishings were dated and the beds were hard. The wifi in our room and breakfast buffet was basic.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay! The hotel was much more modern and renovated and SPACIOUS then any others in our price range on this trip. The bathroom was on par, if not larger than those in the states! Wifi was spotty, and the bed was very firm, but those were the only two negatives about the hotel. We were welcomed with fresh fruit in the room, robes and slippers, cool air conditioning, and a nice balcony that overlooked the street. Didn’t hear street noise or other guests at all. Location was about 10-15 mins from the train station, and right down the street from the Accademia (we arrived without reservations at about 2 pm and only waited in like 15 minutes!). Everything else was a bit further walk, but not too far. There seemed to be some really good restaurants close by, too. Would recommend this hotel, especially if you like a firm bed!

Room was a reasonable size for Europe but not that big. The beds and pillows were very firm. Our room had a shower over the bath. As others have said, the bar fridge is full of their products - why can't hotels have about 50% of fridge space free for guests to use? The air-conditioning was good. It's well past time for European hotels to add tea and coffee making facilities - they have responded to customers and added Wi-Fi, so why not tea and coffee items? The breakfast area was very small and inadequate for the number of guests, so guests had to find alternative seating in other areas. There is a small pizza shop behind the hotel where you can purchase drinks, and also some small shops down the road going into Florence centre. The Wi-Fi in our room was useless - this needs to be sorted out. The hotel has a great indoor and outdoor bar area, and I strongly recommend their restaurant for an excellent Italian meal at a reasonable price.

This hotel is located within walking distance of the main square. It was clean, roomy, and comfortable enough. The morning breakfast buffet was good. My one beef about it was that the lighting in the rooms was terrible. My husband could hardly see to shave in the bathroom lighting, and I had to pull the curtains back to let daylight in just to fix my hair. This probably isn't a big deal overall, but it is a bit of an aggravation when you're trying to get ready and out the door for a day of sightseeing.

2 kms away from central station, this is one of the good place to stay. Again, we had opportunity to eat breakfast only once and it was really good. This is worth the cost. I have uploaded the photos and the rooms are spacious. We have a language barrier in every place in Italy other than Venice. This was one of the place where I was struggling to communicate in English. This place also nearby some of the Indian restaurants in the city. For the sunset point, it is like we have to take a public transport for 30 mins. Little bit away from the public transportation. We had to walk. But the stay here was pleasant. Rooms were cleaned, neat and dry. Good place to be here. Will recommmend to others.

Hotel itself is okay. Ceiling over the shower is peeling, our minibar is hot inside. The room itself is fine as far as the room. Our room faced the street and the noise was incredible. If you are from NY City you might not be bothered but it made sleeping difficult for us. Asking for a room towards the back might help. Breakfast buffet is good and varied. They refused check-in any earlier than 2 pm. Let us borrow bikes to ride around at no charge, which was great but using them in this busy city was difficult so I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel is in a convenient location within walking distance of all the sights in the city. The hotel reception staff ,particularly Sonia ,were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She was courteous and extremely helpful. The hotel is a little basic and breakfast is simple but everything you would need for a stay.

Nice hotel with a friendly staff located at 10 minutes walk from Florence's Duomo. The room is nice and comfortable and equipped with good aircon. Avoid the room at the end of the first floor as you'll only get wifi in the bathroom! Breakfast is average.
