A fairly characterless hotel. Considering the price the quality of the stay isn't all that great. Breakfast is pretty basic, wi-fi slow, bar isn't great, the atmosphere a bit dull. Walls are thin and you can hear what's going on in other rooms (including alarms for people taking morning flights and "snooze" about 20 times!) Immediate surroundings are not of interest for visitors and there are other hotels closer to the city centre with better value. Staff is friendly.

We stayed at this hotel through a tour group. The hotel was nice and modern. Pietro was the bartender and gave us a recommendation to Buck Poldo near the Ponta Vecchio. Pietro called the restaurant and let them know we were coming where they then gave us a drink and a discount on the bill. Our experience at this hotel was made by Pietro, he is a rockstar. The hotel would get higher rankings if the comfortability of the bed matched the guest service!

This Hotel was a disappointment as far as the family room, facilities and Breakfast are concerned. The only thing positive was it's location as it was just 5-8 min walk from the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore is the main church of Florence, Italy. Il Duomo di Firenze, as it is ordinarily called.

Clean and tidy rooms. The hotel is located towards the north of the city centre, but you can walk to the river Arno (ponte vecchio) in about 15minutes. Great breakfast with sweet and savory options. Slowish WiFi in our room, the only negative point I could identify.

Great location. You can walk to all the sites and it’s just a couple of turns from anywhere. Rooms are typical small European but you are not in Florence to stay in your room! Pietro at the bar was amazing! He was so much fun and personable. So amazing!!

We stayed for 3 nights on a B&B basis. We had a good size room, there was a lovely tray of fruit for us on arrival. A flat 10 minute walk to The Duomo. Plenty of shops around the hotel and a good supermarket, Pam’s, about 5 minutes walk away towards the town centre. Breakfast was very basic and quite poor. Just about adequate. If we hadn’t have already paid for it we would have gone out. Hotel restaurant was quiet, food very good and staff extremely friendly. Pretty much an ideal location, quiet but close enough for exploring on foot.

Stayed 4 nights; good location 5-10 minutes walk from the Duomo, 5 minutes to the Academia, and 15 minutes from the central station. Room was clean, even if the decor was a little tired. Good shower, and lovely big towels. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a good choice to build you up for the days sightseeing. Breakfast room was not huge so it was a bit of a squeeze when there was a bus tour party dining at the same time. Our room was towards the rear and was nice and quiet

This hotel is in proximity to all tourist locations and surrounded with good hotels and is the most happening place around. The hotel staff are really good in explaining the inclusions and exclusions with good care and also help in taking you around the city map if needed. Breakfast was good and overall a pleasant stay.

The location was the best thing about this hotel; a short walking distance to The Duomo, restaurants and shops. The rooms, bathrooms and furnishings were dated and the beds were hard. The wifi in our room and breakfast buffet was basic.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay! The hotel was much more modern and renovated and SPACIOUS then any others in our price range on this trip. The bathroom was on par, if not larger than those in the states! Wifi was spotty, and the bed was very firm, but those were the only two negatives about the hotel. We were welcomed with fresh fruit in the room, robes and slippers, cool air conditioning, and a nice balcony that overlooked the street. Didn’t hear street noise or other guests at all. Location was about 10-15 mins from the train station, and right down the street from the Accademia (we arrived without reservations at about 2 pm and only waited in like 15 minutes!). Everything else was a bit further walk, but not too far. There seemed to be some really good restaurants close by, too. Would recommend this hotel, especially if you like a firm bed!
