My husband and I stayed here several years ago (I think 2010) and I STILL hold all other hotels to this standard. It is friendly, modern and in the most perfect location by the Ponte Vecchio. The rooms are well appointed and we had a little balcony off the bathroom overlooking the river. Absolutely romantic!

We arrived at the hotel to a friendly receptionist and concierge took us up to our room (in a very tiny lift). The room was beautiful on first glance but the more you looked the more flaws you found. The shower floor was loose and dangerous to stand on, they put a cheap plastic mat next to it to put down but it didn't look very clean. There are very few plugs in the room and the room itself was very small, the finish just isn't quite there. It's a shame as it's just a few touches and it would be fabulous. The first night we were recommended a pizza restaurant across the ponte vecchio, unfortunately I woke up the next day with severe stomach cramps and sickness. I was in bed for 24hours so not the greatest start to our trip, especially when I later found out that my boyfriend was to propose. This is of no fault to the receptionist (hence why we didn't say when we were there about the food poisoning) but it did ruin our stay at continentale. When I was feeling better we booked into another hotel in the hills to get a fresh start. We had bad luck unfortunately and I don't want it to reflect badly on the hotel as they were perfectly nice and helpful but maybe don't order the mussels from o munaciello. I have never had any form of food poisoning nor do I have a weak stomach or allergies, this was a freak incident and unfortunately I really do think it was down to munaciello not having fresh fish. I do recommend the duomo, argentialle coffee shop(their brunch is also very good according to my better half) and the ugazzi. We did all on the last day in the city and managed to do all in no rush of one day.

I went there with my mother to their spa white iris beauty spa, for a scrub and a massage. It was the best massages ever and we do often massages. I highly recommend this spa. Hend and Erica were amazing! Very professional and very kind! We will return there each time we come to florence. Thank you Hend and Erika for this great moment!

First time to stay at the Continentale - stayed at sister property Gallery Art Hotel previously. Continentale is very comfortable - good room and good bathroom. Good breakfast across the street at sister property. Very welcoming and helpful staff too. Best though is location - at the foot of Ponte Vecchio. Easy access to everything in Florence.

My wife and i absolutely loved our stay in this centrally located modern hotel. Staff were very friendly and gave us some restaurant recommendations and helped us with some bookings. The rooms were just so easy to relax and unwind in and the bed was nice and comfy. It was a bit of a buzz to poke your head out the window over the Ponte Vecchio below you and the roof of the Duomo to your left! The rooftop bar was closed in the off-peak season but they had another one over the street which they gave us a complimentary drink at as a way of making up for the lack of the view we were so excited about! Yes, it can get a little noisy at night but when the windows are closed they are practically sound proof.

Great spot, right in the centre of town and within walking distance of everything. Bar gets busy early evening, so head upstairs early to secure a spot at the bar with a view. Rooms were a good size (for a city centre hotel) comfortable beds and a good breakfast served in their sister hotel next door. Concierge was great, we had a nice car and were assured that it was well taken care off and had not been squeezed into a tight parking spot. Helpful staff with good knowledge of the area.

We managed to get a good price for 3 nights in this hotel via Trivago. Flew into Pisa, got train into Firenze (45minutes) then walked to the hotel, about 10/15 min walk & easy with google maps. The room has great comfy large bed with turn down service. Fantastic bathroom with rainfall walk in shower. The hotel is modern, clean and quirky. The iPad in the lift a great thought for leaving selfies 😀Breakfast over the road was fine with delicious pastries. The location of the hotel is brilliant for walking to the most popular tourist spots & the many shops, restaurants & markets & we found a great wine bar, Spumantino round the corner on Ponte vecchio. I loved the hotel & fell in love with my first visit to Florence.

Outstanding experience, friendly and helpful staff that made assisting us in any situation a priority. Located in a great area of the town, very easy to get around. Excellent rooms, very quiet when windows are closed despite noisy streets at times (normal for Firenze). Attention to detail. Restaurants from hotel chain are great. Will stay again in the near future for sure.

I've stayed at the Continentale several times and the level of service and amenities have been consistent each time. You can beat the location, just steps away from the Ponte Vecchio, yet tucked away from the hussle and bustle of Florence's busy street. The decor is what I love so much about this hotel, the quirky nod to mid-century decor in the lobby is so cool, yet the rooms are very modern, sleek, and relaxing. The hotel has a rooftop bar and room service, and I do believe there is a restaurant, although I haven't tried it. Breakfast is served across the street at the sister hotel, Gallery Art, which also has additional restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting on business or holiday.

Inside the Continebtale hotel just on the corner of the "ponte vecchio" this terrace with a view on the arno river and the palazzo vecchio is great. Open to public even not belonging to hotel the place is glam and offers a good variety of quality cocktails. The cost 19€ per cocktail is high, but the location is unique.
