C-Hotels The Style Florence

The Style Florence is located close to the train station, at 5 minutes by walk from Santa Maria Novella and 10 minutes by walk from the Duomo. The location is really perfect. The room was very calm, clean and well-equipped, not too small. The breakfast buffet was nice with sweet and salty food in the basement of the hotel. The staff was efficient but not specially friendly. Nevertheless, it is really a good address for a city trip.

Thanks to our hotel advisor we got this great hotel. Arriving by high speed train we just had to cross the street from the train station to get to this amazing location. Kind of confusing the issue that it's next door to another hotel and you actually use the entrance of the ambasciattori hotel. Very modern rooms, good breakfast and very centrally located to main tourist sites and amazing restaurants!

Check in service good, rooms nice and modern, breakfast selection good, good wifi. Sadly - key problems (long walk back to reception), very hard mattresses and flat pillows, thin thin walls and we had noisy neighbours, only two working lifts for whole 2 hotels (often waiting a while).

We stayed for two nights, check in was seamless though we checked in through the Ambassaitori reception rather than Style Hotel reception. Room nice enough - clean with good shower, plus extra pillows in closet which came in handy as was carrying a bump. Breakfast was just ok nothing to write home about really. Location was great for us as we arrived by train and didn't want to lug bags around town. I'd stay here again.

Went to The Style Florence only to see a sign to direct all guests to check in at Hotel Ambasciatori instead. Found out from the front desk The Style Florence has been acquired. Not an issue since the entrance to Hotel Ambasciatori is right across from the station. The room, however, is still The Style Florence I assume because you can tell a difference when you approach the rooms after walking via the corridor from Hotel Ambasciatori. The poor rating is due to: (1) a nasty stench in the room and (2) unfriendly service staff at breakfast place in the basement. During my stay, I observed that the restaurant staff treated guests differently, e.g. allowing guests to sit at certain tables after rejecting other guests a few mins earlier. and when guests asked why, the staff gave some reasons and insisted the guests sit where they are instructed. Location is great but just did not feel welcome in this property at all.

Stayed 4 nights, room was a bit small but very nice and clean. The hotel had an amazing breakfast, with great variety! Perfect location near the train station. Giving it only a 4 star because our air conditioner did not work very well.

Me and my girlfriend went here for a short summer break and were mostly disappointed. When it is that hot outside we expect the air conditioning to be much better. In some cases we doubted if it in fact worked. The breakfast were also very disappointing. The bread and eggs in particular were not what we expected! The service were perfect however! Due to the hot weather we shortened our stay with a night and weren't charged anything to do so. We just paid for the two nights we stayed.

Great location.Easy to reach. Food and service was superb. House wine tasted wonderful.Everyone had a smile!!!!! Looking to please the guests.A beautiful place in a beautiful city. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful place.

We choose this hotel primarily due to its location to the train station, as we were arriving by train from Rome. A walk across the street and we were at the hotel, super handy! Was not far from the main area of Florence, just a short 5 min walk to the piazzas, Duomo and all the restaurants, etc. Modern style hotel. Our room (#392) was a decent size, comfy bed and comfortable temperatures (room has AC). There is a safe in the room, which is nice for your extra cash and passports. Bathroom shower is a bit odd, there is no door, partition, curtain, so we ended up soaking everything each morning (always had to remember to move the toilet paper - since it was right next to the shower). But other than that it was the only inconvenience. Rooms were cleaned promptly each day, and there were never any housekeeping issues. Free WiFi was included and there were no issues with connecting or using it. Hotel has 2 elevators, although usually only 1 was working. We didn't have a breakfast plan, so we ate outside of the hotel each morning. But there were lovely cafes well within walking distance. Desk staff was helpful, held our luggage as our room wasn't available until 2:00pm. This allowed us some time before checking in to tour a bit of Florence.

Stayed at this hotel with a tour group. It is under renovation. Our room was very nice. The shower is all tile with a glass wall. Nothing to put toiletries on but the floor, no grab bar (the shower floor gets very slick!!!), and when you finish showering the walls of entire bathroom are dripping.
