The place was great and the host was quick to respond with any question or assistance needed. The ducks at the pond were a very nice addition and fun to watch. However if you’re looking for truly secluded, this might not be the best place. The house sits on a driveway connecting other properties and cars go up and down often throughout the day. If you’re bringing a pet a couple of things to know; there’s not a whole lot of grass for a dog to go to the bathroom on if they’re picky about that and there’s only an inside trash can so there’s not really a place to throw away dog poop bags. Also if your dog gets riled up over cars coming by that’s definitely a factor. Lastly, if your dog can’t do a lot of stairs this might not be the place for them. They are covered in carpeted treads but they’re steep and narrow. If you have an older dog who doesn’t love cars driving by and/or you’re looking for a truly secluded spot, this might not be the place for you. Overall though, the house was very nice and a cozy stay and the host was more than helpful. We loved the gas fireplace, the pond/ducks and the porch for sitting outside.
