You may find a cheaper place, or one with slightly more facilities, but you will NEVER find a more relaxing place. The staff are amazing and so friendly this is the best family holiday I have had with my kids ever. It started with the porter showing us to the Villa and showing us in with "Welcome Home" and boy did we feel at home. A big shout out to the boys at the beach Bure- they are great with the kids and getting them involved in activities. A massive thank you to Setareki who went above and beyond in every interaction with me- his service was outstanding. When the staff in The Feast Restaurant got together and sang us a farewell song, I had tears in my eyes as I felt I was leaving friends and family- thank you Sheraton Denerau!
The villas are good for a large group or families, plenty of space, comfortable beds and well kept. Kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils etc if you want to eat in, although the shops close to the villas don’t stock a large amount of fresh food for cooking. Frozen foods are fine, but no oven in the villas to cook them in! We stayed on the resort during Aus October school hols and it was very busy, but the pool near the villas was a lot quieter than the one at the Sheraton Hotel. Breakfast at the Sheraton was manic most days would recommend walking down to the Westin as an alternative. Staff less harassed, more space and quality of food better. Restaurants generally ok, would be great to see more healthy options for adults and kids... a lot of chips! I’m room dining menu was more varied. Kids club and deal for kids under 12 is great, although watch some of the paid kids activities as they aren’t all worthwhile. Paid FJD20 for necklace making which was a plastic thread and 8 plastic beads... tshirt printing and sarong printing better value and the bonfire night was a lot of fun for the kids. Overall it’s a 5 star resort designed for families so it’s not cheap but easy to get to the marina and the golf club is a great cheaper eat option (just lots of chips!)
Sheraton Denarau Villas exceeded our expectations. Rooms were immaculate & spacious with everything you needed. Loved the location of being central to the Westin & The Sheraton, making all the facilities available to us giving us the best of both worlds. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast at The Sheraton, lovely platters at The Wet Edge (our favourite), delicious cocktails by the pool & great dinners at the Golf Club conveniently over the road, delicious, huge selection & super cheap! Had a great day at Bula Water Park just over the road & our highlight of our trip was a day trip to Malamala Island (just opened 3 weeks prior) & wow what an amazing place! I would definately recommend staying here, the only thing I would change when I come back again is upgrade to a poolside room. Thank you Sheraton Denarau Villas, amazing service, friendly staff, beautiful resort!!!
We stayed several times and were back again in August and noted a sharp deterioration in the quality of services. General manager is never there and seems keen on saving money no matter what. Comparisons of pictures of rooms we took across several years show that they fo not replace items (e.g., bed throw) and overall maintenance is a disaster. We will NEVER stay there again as there is no point. Since the hotel has an ugly beach (Denarau was built on a mangrove), it needs to compensate with high quality and solid grounds. It has truly become a joke and we know the hotel industry well and have no doubt that it is a reflection of a management that could not care less. It is a real shame.
Located between the Sheraton and Westin resorts, offers perfect location and accommodation. It’s close to the marina and all other attractions on Denarau Island. Suitable for singles, couples and families.
Booked three beachfront two bedroom villas in July. Told two days before arrival none would be available as overbooked. Protested to Manager who confirmed booking would be honoured. On checkin only two villas made available If you can't trust Sheraton to deliver on your booking why stay with them? I certainly won't be. Besides the food was terrible and the whole Family experience ruined by Sheraton.
The Sheraton Villas Port Denarau exceeded our expectations. The 2 bedroom villa was spacious, comfortable and nothing was missing. The whole resort was just perfect for our 5 day girls break. Can't wait to return.
Great service, friendly staff and beautiful resort. The pools were relaxing, and the villas were spacious and well set out. I'd definitely go back to the luxurious resort and recommend it to others. We had a fantastic time.
We spent 6 nights in a 2 bedroom villa. We were on a family holiday, 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 6. Being our third stay, we were upgraded by the check in staff who made us feel welcome and part of the family. Thank you Mere Q for looking after us again. The rooms are well appointed and spacious, and with a kitchen and laundry facilities, are perfect for young children. You get access to the pools and dining facilities of all 3 resorts, as well as the Westin Spa which is divine. We'll be back again.
Large comfortable rooms self contained. Location is great as it's easy to walk between the Sheraton and the Westin. Shops are good and the pool is close. Very relaxed atmosphere and perfect for a holiday.
