Where to begin? with the not-very-clean bath tubs, or the toilet that won't flush; hair-dryer that don't work, no coffee or evtleen a kettle in the room. Air condition with 2 options: freeze to death, or not operating at all. But I think that the top was (hard to choose between the following two): my room was registered as “not occupied”, so I had the pleasure of someone entering our room while we were already in bed, and – bedbugs bites, which still (after more than a week) are very visible, and ache and itchy. As I was with a group, most of the above apply to some of them as well. Be ware!
An American chain but not the same as in The United States. The location is very good. Breakfast and dinner was not as I expect. Service during breakfast and dinner was too slow. The rooms need to be renovated.
A bit old Burt verry good Classic clas Nice staf Take a room high up , theres a lot of trafic infrond of hotel Good airco Verry good location Nice beds Clean rooms Scary elevator lost of kraks and pieps wen working
Large room with spacious bathroom with toiletries There is a safe in the room but I was amazed that it was not fixed to the wall so we did not use it. We did not feel safe putting things in it. Breakfast and dinner need to be improved quickly There is a bank and a mini market in front of the hotel The hotel is close to the square and main boulevard (5-minute walk) but it is recommended to take care to cross the road because there are no traffic signs and drivers drive quickly and do not stop
You book an American hotel oversees and you think they go by the same standards an in US, Wrong!, this is a shame for Ramada, dirty toilets, hair on the shower and a lot of other stuff, not even an iron in the room.
My 2nd visit to this hotel. Good hotel location is great as it is a short ride to the mall and local areas (under 10 MAD). The hotel has a small swimming pool, gym etc. Wifi which is free and throughout at a good speed. Service from staff is great and that makes up all the difference. The only downside is that it has a club at the basement so very noisy in the reception area at night. Rooms are secluded so you don't get to hear the noise there. Also the buffet breakfast it is ok but has a rather small offering.
This hotel we got on a Secret Room offer and we didn't really know what to expect. The hotel certainly does feel 5 star with marble throughout, exceptionally helpful staff and rooms that satisfy all with massive comfy beds, large flatscreen tv and comfortable surrounding with lots of free bathroom goodies. However we found the location was poor as it is located in the upmarket business district like the other 5 star hotels. In this area we found that the people outside the hotel didn't welcome or present themselves to be as welcoming, humble or respectable as those from the Medina is Fes where we stayed prior to this. The hotel is 7 minutes walk from a variety of restaurants selling primarily western food (no tagines in site!). The food was fairly prices in local area with a meal from just £4pp, by the restaurants there is also shops selling all needed products. The shops are located next to a beautiful Mosque/Masjid which is a lovely place to offer your 5 daily prayers. The rooms in Ramada show Qibla with a small marking on table however not you cannot hear the Adhaan from the room due to thick glazing (even with windows open we strugged to hear Adhaan). The hotel has a lovely big swimming pool perfect for swimming lengths or entertaining children but it is very public sitting in view of all upper rooms however when we went we found there was no one else at pool and no one in rooms looking down so there was some level of privacy. We found the pool was heated so warmer than most of the Fes hotels but it still remained a little cold and only the brave got in, however once fully submerged your good and can swim for hours, then recline on the comfy deck chairs. Cost to Medina was roughly between 12-20Dirham depending on driver, this was via the meter but sometimes they took the scenic route shall we say. We spent most of our time in room or at Medina as outside hotel there isn't much to do. Overall our time was enjoyed here but only because of the rooms and swimming pool. Also our room was booked as a Double and Two Single beds but they only provided us with two single beds saying there was a miscommunication they then provided a large travel cot bed, which was the best they could do but still uncomfy for the little one. Also dont forget the city tax which is a nasty surprise on checkout of around 8oDirham per room per night. The wifi is free and good but a little bit laggy when at pool area. Get 5th or 6th floor to keep away from communal noise but ask for a good view as we forgot to ask this and faced the back of a french consulate building a car park.
Expected more from a swish-looking hotel with such expensive rooms. Rooms were clean, decent showers and wifi. However, service pedestrian at best. Overpriced food and drinks even by UK/EU standards, slow and inefficient room service, bringing wrong items, 'hot' drinks gone cold etc. This would be absolutely fine for a small, local hotel starting out in hospitality; but for a large, expensive chain hotel our group was pretty disappointed. Stay here if you can't find a decent riad or local hotel, but try and find something more personal in this extremely hospitable country if you can.
stayed for one night in tour of Morocco. The reception don't talk to you with Eye contact , they only look at the screens and treat customers checking in as objects. No welcome no smile. The hotel is OK. decor and furniture is tired and needs a compete overhaul from room to all areas. The breakfast is good. The hotel is operated by ROBOTS as their is no human touch.. All staff need training on Customer service. A Hello and smile will defintetly help as a start.
I completely love this place. Excellent facilities in good clean condition with an amazingly helpful and friendly staff one and all. The beds/pillows are comfortable. Excellent bathroom with good water pressure, hairdryer etc. tried room service and was prompt and great. Several choices onsite for restaurants/bars and a comprehensive directory of all available amenities in the room as well as a guide to local points of interest. Onsite spa as well. Highly recommended!!
