Welcome to Fox & Badger. A rustic hand-hewn log cabin with 3 acres all to yourself. Set amid the wide scenic valley and high bluffs of Rush Creek State Natural Area. Secluded with no other homes within sight. Enjoy the morning view with coffee on the deck and relax in the evening with drinks by the fire or soak in the hot tub under the stars. Walk off the property onto 2800 acres of public hunting, fishing, hiking and wildlife adventure. Just 1 - 1/2 miles from the Mississippi river. Perfect for every season!

Secluded cabin

Overall it was a fantastic stay. The property was as advertised; it was quiet, well maintained and a great place for a weekend getaway with the wife. I would definitely recommend.

The cabin was awesome and secluded .The owners put a lot of thought in providing everything from indoor games and movies to outdoor things to do. The cabin itself was full of all your essentials and more. It was a peaceful and wonderful place to stay.

Taxidermy Delight

The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the isolation of this cabin was wonderful. I didn't mind all the dead animals on the walls but it did bother my wife. The major complaint that I had was that the beds and bathroom were on different levels. The plumbing exists so I wish they would add at least a half bath in the basement next to the master bedroom. Other than the bathroom issue, the cabin and area are wonderful.

Peaceful

This property is very peaceful. Feels like home, we were able to spend quality time together. The host were great communicators. This would be a great place to stay any season as we look forward to going back again someday.
