Nice staff, good breakfast and right across the west acres mall!

Softball tournament in town so very noisy. Not hotels fault AND they did try to make it right in the am. Not a 3 star but o.k.

I was there for two nights. Location was fine: restaurants in easy walking distance, and even a bookstore nearby. Clean room, decent breakfast, comfortable bed. No complaints, and a bargain at the price.

No problems ... we arrived late, so were unable to get our most preferred room (one king vs two queen beds) ... and accessing the second floor room was a bit more exercise than we wanted that late, but in general everything was okay or better.

No big problems with this hotel. However the day of my check out I was planning to stay for a couple more nights but the the guy at the front desk was rude and hurrying. Yes, I was checking out late but I had all intentions to stay longer til he hurried me.

The hotel was good and in a good location, it is just disappointing that the price gets raised for events.

This hotel is badly in need of a major renovation (or maybe just tear down and start over). While I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again, I slept fine and did enjoy the many breakfast options. I was on the first floor so had a door both to the hallway and to the parking lot, which was convenient. It was a little noisy - I could hear people in the hallways and there was a dog in the next room.

The whirlpool bath was awesome and relaxing! Food dudes delivers good choices. Kick back and relax and enjoy hbo

Close to shopping and food. Convenient for NDSU visit

The room we stayed in had stains on the chair, the TV was on a low table, so you couldn't see the whole picture when laying in bed, the bed skirt was ripped in several places, and the toilet seat was loose. The breakfast was okay. We would maybe stay there again, but in a different room.

At check in, I was told that since I was paying cash, I could not pay until check out. After years in the hotel business myself, I thought this was rather strange, especially since they had my card. Saturday morning I went down and said I was not comfortable keeping that amount of cash in the room, or carrying it with me. Especially since I was there for a wedding. After a bit of a hassle, they took my cash. Monday morning I saw that they had also preauthorized my card for the full amount of the room. In my experience, you preauthorize the card at checkin, unless they guest pays cash. They said it would come off my card in about 15 days. I was not impressed or very happy. The manager said the desk clerks should have explained that. Well, they didn't. For that reason alone, I will not go back to that hotel.

Front desk staff were usually preoccupied with phone calls, leaving check ins and general questions long waits. Main floor rooms felt like a motel. The room above our room had creaky floors, keeping us up all night. I requested an upstairs room the second night (no elevator) which was much nicer and had a good night sleep. Room had recently been remodeled. Breakfast was ok. Location is great. U get what u pay for...

We just needed a one night stay after a NDSU football game and it was perfect. We were able to grab breakfast before we headed out. I would stay here again!!

Very nice place to stay great location, friendly staff

Very satisfied. Close to mall and next door to Red Lobster. Property is old but well maintained.

Went up there with my sweetie to relax and have a nice meal at the Red Lobster next door. Checked in, everything was great, took a nap, then went next door for dinner and a few adult beverages. Walked back and went to bed (beds were fantastic). During the night heard a loud noise, turned out to be the A/C. That happened about four times overnight, diminishing what would have been a perfect stay. Next morning while checking out I mentioned it to the front desk lady, she seemed very concerned and when I mentioned I would like some adjustment for the inconvenience, she immediately offered me 30 dollars off which I immediately accepted. All in all I would recommend it to a friend and plan on staying there again.

This place is ok, not great. I'd give it 2 out of 5 stars. The 13th Avenue location is good because it is near (or a short drive) to everything. My room was dark... not enough lighting plus dark colored upholstery, carpet & comforter. The bed was hard and the pillows were small. Having said that, it was about what I expected knowing what I was paying. The room was clean and the right temperature. Pay a 2-star price, get a 2-star room.

BREAKFAST, NOTHING BUT CARBS. MY WIFE IS DIABETIC SO SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING SHE COULD EAT. ENTIRE HOTEL WAS DATED AND NEEDED A FACE LIFT. MOTOR ON HEATER FAN SOUNDED LIKE IT NEEDED A NEW BEARING. VERY LOUD, HARD TO SLEEP.

Overall not bad, just an average stay. Proximity to shopping is great though.

My stay at this hotel was very relaxing and the location was perfect for what I was in town for. The room was comfortable and the continental breakfast was a great addition. All in all a great experience.
