Great Residence Inn, one of their obviously newer hotels. Rooms were immaculate, beds were comfortable. There was a minor issue I had with my room, but Jared at the front desk was helpful and efficient in handling the problem... he got me another room, no problem at all, without my even asking. I didn't check out the breakfast options. Definitely recommend.
We stayed here as this was where our block of rooms was booked and this was a great choice! Everything was great during our stay. We had a nice one bedroom with two queen beds. The room was quiet, we never even saw anyone in our hallway. The staff was welcoming and always were nice. The breakfast was a bonus especially when traveling with kids. They have an outdoor space that the adults sat at and the kids kept busy with basketball or the pool. Everyone in our group had great comments and our tournament director would like to come back here next year for our group. We definitely would stay here again if we are in the area.
My family stayed at the Residence Inn for a few nights when we were in Fargo for a wedding. The suite we booked worked well since we were able to put our daughter's crib in the living room at night. The service was excellent when we had questions or needed help, and the breakfast buffet was noticeably better than what most hotels offer. The location is also good, with easy access to the interstates, and attractions like the zoo and Scheels just minutes away. It's about a 15-minute drive to the airport.
I travel for a living. I have stayed in countless hotels. The Residence Inn in Fargo is above and beyond wonderful. They deserve every one of their five star average review. Frank, the manager on duty during my stay, is as good as the best consierge in the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. He manages to be cheerful and helpful and then step away - a resource, not an aggravation - the best. I needed a cookie sheet to roast some vegetables for my dinner, Frank brought a cookie sheet to my room within two minutes of my making the call. The hotel is so clean I was sure it must have just been built. And as my stay was on a Wednesday night, I got to enjoy a glass of red wine and a nice appetizer bar, but wait, this wine, which I had NO expectations of, was REALLY GOOD. I love red wine, I have it every day, I was stunned. Free wine in a plastic cup at a Residence Inn in Fargo North Dakota and I am LOVING this wine??! The breakfast bar in the morning offered Brie and fresh spinach among the choices to add to your scrambled eggs. Mind blown. I have never seen a breakfast bar this lovely at a less-than-$200-a-night hotel. My room was spacious with a kitchen and a gas fireplace on a timer and a yummy extra blanket in the closet. The interior design was peaceful without being boring. I found myself thinking that whomever designed this hotel room spent a lot of time in hotel rooms and knew exactly how to make my stay comfortable.
Visited for a hockey tournament. Hotel was across street from rink, very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Rooms were big and clean. Beds very comfortable. Nice work out room and pool room.
We had been driving 16 hours and it was 11pm at night when we stopped here. Initially, we tried to stay next door at another hotel but their king bed rooms were full, so we pulled next door to the Residence Inn. I mentioned to the front desk gal how exhausted we were, were there king rooms open, and then asked if there was a senior discount, which there was. After gathering our luggage, and coming back into the lobby, the front desk gal said there is 2 king beds in your room. I thought nothing of it at the time, but when we got to the room, it was actually a king suite with 2 complete bedrooms and en suite bathrooms, a full kitchen and living room. It was a wonderful surprise to receive this upgrade! Too bad we did not have any extra time to enjoy our stay there but it was a great boost that the front desk clerk was so kind. This would be a perfect setup for a family or 2 couples as each bedroom was on the opposite end of the center living space. We even took advantage of the 2 bathrooms as my husband and i each used one getting ready for the day the next morning. I did mention at check out that our evening front desk clerk had given stellar service. When i mentioned where we had driven from that day, she commented she had done the same trip not too long before, so she must have known the marathon the day had been! She left a great impression of the hotel with us.
Our entire extended family from all parts of the nation stayed in this hotel for a family members funeral. This hotel catered to our every need while there. Specifically, an employee named Jarod (who seemed to be there from sun up to sun down daily) was above and beyond incredible. Jarod joked around with our kids and consistently engaged our group ensuring that we were taken care of. I never saw this man sit still for 5 minutes. He was always cleaning or engaging guests. Great job Residence Inn!
Friendly, clean and quiet. Always stay here on way home from Montana. The staff is helpful. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well. Just off the freeway and easy to find. The breakfast is a great variety and serves gluten free options too.
Visited for the weekend from Manitoba, and chose the Residence Inn so we could have a one bedroom suite, leaving us someone to hang in the evening once our toddler went to sleep. It was exactly what we wanted. The hotel is finished to a really high quality, and all the staff were very helpful. Thanks to some restaurant recommendations from the front desk, we had amazing meals in Fargo. The breakfast was impressive, and I liked that it wasn’t the same every day. When I had an issue with uncomfortable pillows, they switched them with no fuss, and I slept great after that. The pool was the priority to our toddler and we went every day - it was clean and well decorated. We’d definitely stay here again - clearly a great place for extended stays with the suite kitchens.
We recently stayed at Residence Inn Fargo for a tournament. The hotel was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but wasn’t terrible. Eggs, meat, cereal and waffles were on the menu every day. The kids loved the pool. There isn’t much within walking distance, but nothing is far by car. Overall a good experience. If given the opportunity, we would stay here again.
