Its is a great place to stay. They are inflexible when you make mistakes on booking they are not open to making changes even in light of family emergencies ; It is also advertised free airport transportation and it is not. Its is 55 each way and the property is 45mins from the airport

Here’s the real deal: I did SO MUCH RESEARCH and finally chose this resort for the swim up suite, lazy river and all inclusive. We were there the first week of March so there was still a bit of a chill in the pool water but not the ocean. The pools were still lovely and clean. The room was comfortable and clean. I sleep hot and was glad that the rooms are pretty cold if you want them to be. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had no trouble getting every single thing we asked for, including buckets of ice daily. The minibar refills daily with bottled water, coke, Coke Zero, sprite and juice. Food: unlimited access to decent food. Not “oh my god this is so good” food but good enough that I had no complaints. Skip the Red Snapper restaurant, it was average. Not great, not bad though. Sakura is the hibachi restaurant and the food was fresh and very good there. Chef was a treat. My husband raved about Martha’s Market (the huge buffet) for breakfast. We also ate a lunch and dinner there and found it pretty good and plentiful (very similar to those huge Chinese buffets in the US). You’re not going to get high quality seafood on all inclusive but they had the option to purchase lobster, etc. The beach was average and the water felt great. There were plenty of seats and the waiters came by often. Some rocky areas on the beach but not too bad, just watch where you’re going. My favorite: the Jamaican Jerk shack on the beach had the best chicken I think I’ve ever had.

Staff were amazing, helpful, always smiling always greeting you. We had a swim up room. It was amazing. It was great being able to take a quick dip. The ocean lagoon was a perfect size. The snorkeling was good. Saw some wonderful ocean creatures. The food was amazing so many options. Try the Japanese restaurant it was great food and very entertaining. We will definitely make a trip back.

For perspective—I went with a 7 year old and a 1 year old! And I loved every bit of it! I had a double bed that overlooked the waterpark and the ocean. Rooms were clean and past my expectations. From front desk-to the bell boys-the staff all around the hotel I was pleased! As someone that isn’t a fan of islands or don’t really care for beaches, my stay at this resort changed my views. However, you need reservations for two of the 10 restaurants that they have. And I must say the both sucked and I’m glad they had the buffet to go to aftwards. Sakura—hibatchi style food, the service and chef was great but food was 0. The other Italian restaurant—let’s just say my steak looked like jail food and the entrees were bland. We were lucky enough to go the main buffet which had something for everyone—me my husband, and kids. Some of the staffs at the restaurants looked like they didn’t want to be there be there but that didn’t ruin our trip. We made the best of it! We will most likely be back and that’s coming from someone who usually don’t return to places after visiting them.

family vacation and overall had a positive experience, with a few important things to note. The pools are clean but not heated, so they’re chilly at first (including the swim-out rooms), though refreshing once you’re in. The beach is rocky, so water shoes are a must. We did experience a safety concern when someone in our group cut their foot on an older pool chair with exposed bolts. Getting first aid was difficult—even with Privilege service, we were told to walk to the nurse’s station instead of receiving help at the pool. Having basic first aid supplies nearby would make a big difference. Four adults in our group had spa massages, and all had unusual, uncomfortable experiences related to how our feet were handled. Nothing definitive occurred, but the experience felt unprofessional and left us uneasy. Check-in was chaotic, and our room wasn’t ready upon arrival despite Privilege status. The room initially lacked blankets, robes, and towels, but once resolved, it was fine. There was some construction due to hurricane damage, but it did not impact our stay. Staff interactions were mixed—some were wonderful, others came across as abrasive. Positives: food was consistently good, the buffet was clean, and our kids (7 and 10) absolutely loved the water park and family-friendly pool games. Despite a few issues, we would recommend this resort, especially for families. With improvements to safety and service consistency, it could be much better.
