The house is in a good location and has great views from the master and attic bedrooms. It’s easy to walk into town and there’s a lovely pub just a few metres down the road. It’s very hilly so any mobility issues would be a challenge. The house is simply decorated and nicely furnished. The kitchen is extremely well equipped - two fridges, lots of cutlery, crockery, pans and other cooking equipment. There are two hobs but only one was working. There’s a table that we were all able to sit and have dinner together. The lounge is lovely, plenty of sofas for everyone to sit and relax with TV & WIFI.The bedrooms were simply furnished and clean. The beds in a couple of the bedrooms were not particularly comfortable to sleep in but most were ok. Both bathrooms were clean with electric showers available in both. The house itself has amazing potential but does need a little TLC. The outside area also needs a little attention and perhaps some updated garden seating. It is not easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues - steep steps and pathway to the raised garden areas, the rear garden gate and the parking space. Parking at the front of the house is free but is also busy at times. Be aware that there are extremely high kerbs which have steps to access the pavement. It was a challenge for my elderly dad but we managed! The host was really helpful and responded to messages. They were really kind by allowing us a slightly earlier entry after our long journey.
