No extra towels, no ice machine, no clothes hangers in the closet or any amenities one has when you have hotel/motel lodging. Tiny TV, inadequate bed covering for lodging in a very cold climate. I have never lodged ANYWHERE that the front desk was closed after 10 pm and doesn't open until mid-day on the next business day and the offerings are so sparse. All signs say no smoking however, cigarette and marijuana smoked is ALL you smell in the building. There was yelling and screaming by people in other rooms all day and night. Needless to say, I will never stay @ this place again and I most certainly wouldn't wish a stay like this on my worst enemy. This was a lodging nightmare. I don't smoke so I really don't appreciate being constantly exposed to smoke while I was in the building.

Birch Hill performed a background check I did not consent to and Expedia also did not inform me beforehand that this would be expected. I was denied a room. I am paralyzed in a wheelchair and this caused a great deal of stress and I have shared this experience with others to prevent the problem for anyone else. Expedia does not care for it's members.

Kids screaming in the halls, dogs barking everywhere and halls smelled like feces. No shampoo but had a blow dryer. No cups. No cleaning service, nor clean towels. My feet were black from walking barefoot on the floors. Bathtub was filthy. Receptionist had unruly kids with her.

Hôtel à ne pas conseiller. J’ ai fait m réservation en ligne , arrivée sur place la réception était fermé. J ai attendu plus de 20 minutes car c’est une cliente qui a appelé le réceptionniste. A son arrivée, il ne s’excuse pas et me donne la clé d’une chambre. Lorsque j’y vas , je trouve qu’il y a déjà un client qui dors dans cette chambre. Imaginez vous que si j’étais un voleur, j allais voler les affaires de ce client. Toute la nuit je n’ai pas dormi car trop de briuit. Aux allentours , groupe de personnes qui boivent et fument. Dans la chambre, pas de matériel de cuisine. Le savon est tellement minuscule. Horrible hôtel

The staff was friendly. Outside and inside was kept up well. The room could have used a better cleaning especially the floor and dusting. The stove top was missing a knob and cigarette burns on the counter tops. The pillows definitely could be upgraded and there were no blanket on the bed. Overall, a decent place just bring pillows and a blanket.

My room 138, had an intense fragrance. The fragrance was probably to mask old cigarette smoke odor; I was getting random wiffs of cigarette smoke throughout the night. The bed and bathroom were clean. The floor looked clean. The neighboring clients were sketchy acting and I wouldn't say I felt "safe"

I booked this hotel for a short stay between work shifts. I had a 5-hour gap and didn’t want to spend an hour driving home and back just to end up more tired. The goal was simple: get some decent rest, avoid exhaustion, and be safe on the road. While the location was convenient, the stay was far from restful. The room was very noisy. I could hear constant stomping from the guest above me, and it literally sounded like they were moving furniture after midnight. On top of that, there were barking dogs that made it hard to relax at all. Another major issue was the lack of proper blackout curtains and the bright parking lot lights poured in all night, making it hard to fall — or stay — asleep. The bedding was also cheap and flimsy, to the point where I felt the need to go out and buy my own just to feel remotely comfortable. In the end, I left and drove home anyway, only getting about **1 hour and 40 minutes of sleep total — completely defeating the purpose of booking the room in the first place. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this stay. If you're looking for rest and recovery, this isn’t the place to find it. ---
