Hotel is dated. Smell of cat urine and smokers to greet you upon arrival. Rooms are older. Bring a power strip! Plan on a long shower, as there's no water pressure. Staff is the best thing. Friendly, willing to help and accommodating.
First of all it is very dirty...I had to request cleaning supplies to clean the room myself witch I got ringworm from cleaning. The owner is rude and stubborn she wouldn't give extra towels and kept accusing us of having a dog.I paid her a lot of money to stay there and got treated like a criminal..These are bad people in an even worse enviroment...Do not go!
Hotel was clean, smelled nice. A little out dated and not enough electrical outlets to power everything at the same time (tv, lamp, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker). Super friendly staff. Felt very welcome and they acted as though they appreciated our business. Good for a couple of nights and price was reasonable.
I picked this place as it was near where I had some business to attend to and was reasonably priced. A picture is worth a thousand words so I'll attach a few I took in March 2016. Hotels in the area are overpriced due to the air force base and colleges all being close to each other. WIth this in mind it appears all hotels can charge a premium as there generally in demand. This one was adequate, a place to crash for a few nights. Wizard of Where
The people there were awesome though for some reason multiple people could only check in one person at a time when we got there. The room was clean and very quiet. Bed was very comfy and we ate at the lounge there twice, the wait staff was awesome and made everything to order. Wish I live closer they would be the hotel we stayed at even more.
I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful desk clerk-The room was clean as were the bed and bathroom-As others have stated, the rooms could use some updating, but it worked great for us-The wi-fi and cable tv were good as well--If y'all are looking for 4 or 5 star amenities, stay somewhere else-(and pay the price!)-We will stay again if in the area!
Place smells, wifi don't work correctly. Pool is a hazard. Not for kids, no water, over grown mess. Don't waste your money. They need a new manager, to clear it all up. New carpets, tidy the walk ways. It affects all the other businesses when people like us say don't stay there. Ide sooner sleep in car..
We just stayed here for 3 nights. It is a older hotel but is clean and the staff is very helpful. We asked for a smoke free room and that is what we got. No smell of any kind. We believe you get what you pay for and with this room we got more. Have stayed at plenty of hotels over the years and paid alto more for less. We will use this hotel the next time we are in town....
The water is either hot or cold. there is no medium unless you take s bath. As soon as you turn the shower on if the cold is on at all it comes out freezing. The maintenance man is incompetent and said there is no way to fix it. Their wifi is very slow and the internet on my phone is faster. The maids don't clean the rooms properly or check for any items left behind. The drawers had items from the previous guests and they never opened them to clean them. There is trash behind all the tables and beds. The microwave is in the hallway and is filthy. Even though I informed the front desk of the health hazard it was never cleaned. You are only provided with 2 towels when you arrive and its almost a hassle to get more from the front desk. They don't have pool towels so your towels have to double as pool towels and shower towels. The light in the bathroom has a short and shuts off frequently. The air conditioner shuts off by itself when it is not on auto. It's nearly impossible to find a housekeeper when you need one. They leave the doors open, cleaning supplies in the rooms and carts unattended. The lock on the bathroom door does not work. They have smoking and non smoking rooms mixed so the non smoking rooms smell of stale smoke. There are no elevators to the second floor so you have to carry heavy luggage upstairs. The pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable. The windows don't open so if there is a fire in your hallway you are trapped unless you break the glass. There is flood damage all over the hotel. The ceiling is leaking in the lobby. They only have 1 person at the front desk at a time and you have to wait on them to take smoke breaks. There is no breakfast in the mornings, only coffee that they let get cold and sit all day. There's terrible water pressure in the shower. The tvs are old, bulky, and the reception sucks. You dont get a lot of basic channels like tru tv for instance. The trashcan in the bathroom is bigger than the one in your room. They make your visitors check in at the front desk. Theres almost always a creepy guy in the hallway asking you strange questions and even following you to your room. You arent allowed to use their ice machines for your coolers to keep your food and drinks cold. If you have a choice don't stay here. It's cheap but with all the issues it's not worth it.
Woke up to flooded bathroom, no toilet paper when arrived, no hot water, no air or fan. Not happy with this hotel!!! Had to use our towels to clean up the bathroom floor and turn off the water supply to toilet
