"The staff upon check in was friendly and attentive. The parking garage, while it does exist, is in a rough condition and does not have any walk ways other than the entrance to the hotel. My room was on one of the upper floors and it was clean. However, the window has a gap between the two window panes that makes the noise from the wind at night loud enough that you need ear plugs or headphones to block it out. There is also a restaurant listed as being in this hotel but it is no longer in operation. If you are staying in Evanston to be in Evanston, it does have a nice central location with everything being walkable from right out of the front door. With some renovations around the property it could be really nice. As for now its just a decent place to stay for the price."

"The first room that was assigned to us was terrible; small, looked like a basement although it was on 3rd floor, had only ugly white lighting! Luckily the staff listened to our complaints and changed it immediately to a normal room. The staff was kind and polite. Our room was clean. Breakfast had a rich menu. However, there was no complimentary water bottles (we were told that the hotel ran out of water). They were being sold though."

"The property is in a great location. Near shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly and the room was clean and relatively quiet. The refrigerator made an annoying buzzing sound. Maintenance looked at it but after they left, every morning it would wake us up at 6 or 7 in the morning. Lastly the pool wasn’t operational until the last day of our stay. That was truly disappointing as we chose this particular hotel because it had a pool. I feel like establishments should let visitors know in case they want to change their reservation. Anyway overall a pleasant place to stay."
