The lights didn't work. Most of the tv channels didn't work. Every few hours there was a loud noise coming from the fridge. Everything was out of order.
convenient location. Nice appliances. Breakfast was not as good as the usual breakfast I had at other econo lodge locations.
This hotel was a lot better than I thought it would be. The front desk Staff was very nice and accommodating. Check in was very easy and fast. The room was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel is older, but it was a nice surprise that it was so clean and comfortable. I will stay here again when I have to stop in evanston
It was a bit cheaper than the other hotels and the location seemed good, so I went for it. I was shocked when I got here. The place was super run down. I haven't seen smoking rooms at a hotel in a while. The breakfast was terrible and the rooms were old and run down. I will never stay there again.
NEEDS TO BE TAKEN DOWN AND START OVER ,DIRTY OLD ROOM TILE IN BATHROON 1970,S . POOR BREAKFAST AND ROOM. JAKE COLORADO
Cheap price, very average. Nothing outstanding at this place, but fine for a quick overnight stay on a long road trip.
Was a rather interesting ordeal at check in, Did not get questions answered as to the rate I was paying. Did not get a receipt for on line reservation. I was told the cost of the room was much less than I ordered on line, It wasn't a bad place to spend one nite if you are not to fussy.
If you are comfortable with possibly dying at a creepy hotel, this is the one for you. This hotel isn't near any other hotel in the city...instead it is in some creepy section where you get to listen to cop sirens all day. You feel about as safe inside as outside, with bad guests running through the halls and either harassing you or banging on the walls outside. The staff are all idiots. The computers were down, which is understandable, but the staff didn't know what to do really. They tried to make me give them my credit card again when I had already paid...pretty shady. The smell of the rooms when you walk in is some musty kind of dead person smell. The sheets and towels weren't even clean...had some kind of yellow stain all over them. The toilet paper was almost empty, so my guess is they didn't even clean after the last guest. The mini fridge and microwave were broken. Also, the ice machine in the hall was broken. We ended up biting the cost and leaving because it was that bad. It's cheap, and you get even less than what you pay for.
