I found this hotel very disappointing. The main desk and foyer was very nice but that’s where it ended. There is no security on doors coming from any of the side or back entrances. Our room had 3 locks on the door but it just didn’t seem secure. Sheets and towels were stained

I never had an issue with any hotel for my stays. The staff was friendly and at least honest about the rooms. We arrived, it was very clean in the lobby but as soon as we got the room. We had stain everything from pillows to towels and even the comforter. We had to go to Walmart to get towels and pillows. The bed sheets had burn marks from cigarettes even tho i requested a non smoking room due to asthma. We even had to buy cleaning wipes to wipe down the bathroom and fridge. The manager immediately approvdd our refund aftwr we complained varies of time of the fridge not working. He is the only reason i am giving them 2 stars. Definitely need to do better job for a hotel.

Disgusting hotel. Lobby looks reasonable but there is pet hair down every hallway. What I would describe as displaced people and their pets inhabiting a good portion of the hotel. We found dog food, garbage and human food scraps under both beds, the bathroom and under the chair cushion. We didn’t even put our bags down, we asked for a second room and it was the same. We left and went to another hotel. The manager said he would not refuse the refund from Expedia, but he would not return their calls so no refund. Plenty of pictures to post but there seems to be no way to do it here.

The front desk attended were great when I arrived a little after 6 PM Saturday but I just woke up at 6 AM and there was a bed bug crawling on daughter, father. I was told that neither the overnight attendant or the morning manager was able to give me a refund or offer me another room because I was checking out today anyway so I have to wait until I hear back from the owners that I sent the email to move forward with anything

The phone in our room didnt wirk,there was no room key entrance to back door where we had to come in,in fact there was a hole there. Parking lot poorly plowed and walks really not taken care of. Heat did not work, slept in semi air conditioning. I would like a full refund for this horrible 1 night stay,but I will probabaly get apology instead. Save it. There a tons of bad reveiws and obviously no one cares. Expedia,remove them as they are giving you a bad rep.

All of the staff I encountered were very friendly. Handled everything fairly. Room wasn’t the worst but definitely needs better maintenance. Lots of stains on beds and towels. Very limited supply seems like. But for what I paid. Can’t really complain.

Horrible experience at the Days Inn Wyndham Erie l

Horrible. Parking lot was a sheet of ice and I got stuck. The hotel clerk would not help me at the time so I had to wait until morning as promised to be unstuck. Then due to the fact, I was in the front of the lobby parked I had to carry my luggage all the way around to the other side of the property with no help while they sat there and watched me. I am disabled and not strong enough to carry my bags that far so I didn’t get to bring what I needed completely. I had to stop periodically in the hallways after going up a full flight of stairs to rest. Once in my room, I realize the bedding was filthy and stained along with the stain towels in the morning when I wanted to leave, there was no one to help me get unstuck in the parking lot because that person was still there, but apparently went to sleep and was sleeping And unavailable. I slipped across the parking lot to my car on wet ice and then waited for over an hour until somebody finally came to give me help. And those helpers were just kind people and not the hotel staff. One nice gentleman that worked in the hotel that came in that morning to set up. The breakfast was so kind and apologetic, but of course he wasn’t able to help me and couldn’t leave the lobby, but he tried. The whole experience was a nightmare. I did not get a proper stay a proper sleep or a proper change of clothes and what not to start my day fresh. I will be filing a complaint further in corporate for the conditions and experience in a Wyndham hotel.

Where do I start ? Outside doors into the building...no locks, just holes where the locks should be. Get to the room, 1 towel 1 wash cloth & 1 towel for floor. A steady stream of water coming from the spigot in the tub, bathtub caulk missing and tub stained. Bathroom sink was waist level, I'm 5'4",and missing the stopper in the sink. Door into room was not secure, upper lock was askew, second lock,you could wiggle it and actually see through the door. I emptied the one and only trash can by taking the liner out only to find a used Qtip and some type of old food. Room itself, was ok..except for the hole in the wall. This Wyndham property looked like it might of been something special back in the day BUT not now ! Pictures on their website are extremely misleading ! I will say this..the lobby was beautiful and the gentleman working the desk could not of been nicer ! Upon seeing the lobby I was excited to see the room....what a let down ! I understand the Erie is in the snowbelt but the parking lot was extremely iced over and and snowy...parking in the "handicap" spot as my husband is a disabled veteran, was a real treat ! The ground level entrance ,to our building was littered with, an old sheet, latex glove, a pair of pants and cigarette butts ! So disappointed 😞 ! I have pictures to document my claims. Obviously, we will never return to this particular facility.
