The house and location were perfect for our stay with 2 teenagers. Easy walk to the beach and really nice that the house is on a quiet cul-de-sac. Great layout of the kitchen/family room area. Would highly recommend renting bikes, too. The 11 mile Emerald Isle bike path is easily accessible from the house and a fun way to explore other areas.

Great vacation home

The house was perfect for our family beach vacation. It had everything we needed. The house location was quiet and the beds were so comfortable! The walk to the beach was really easy and the outdoor shower made it easy to clean off after a trip to the beach. The owner was really easy to work with.

What we needed

This was an awesome property. It was a great location and perfect for what we needed for the weekend. The walk to the beach was not bad and it was a great walkway to get there. We had everything we needed. Decor was great and it wasn’t too much. It was simple and very pretty. There was plenty of room and very open. I would definitely pick this one again. Thanks to the property owner for the communications and the ease of checkin and checkout!

After our original VRBO booking fell through only 2 hours before we were to check in, we found this house and amazing owner who worked magic to get us in at the last minute.This was far better than what we originally booked! The house was spacious, clean, centrally located, and had every amenity we could have wished for--including a special basket of dog toys for our pets! Lots of cleaning supplies and extra toiletries made it easy to maintain the house while we were there. The outdoor shower and hose were great for rinsing off the beach before coming inside. Having all tile on the first floor helped keep the sand sprawl to a minimum. Every bedroom was comfortable, and the upstairs living/dining/kitchen area was spacious and clean. We especially appreciated the supply of bottled water and snacks that the owner left for us.The location was perfect. Close enough to the beach to walk there easily, but on a quiet cul-de-sac that minimized traffic around the house. The porch proved ideal for an evening drink, as well as for morning coffee.Great house on a stunning island. We'd love to come back
