Horrible, HomeAway did not communicate payement to landlord

We booked our vaction through home-away; upon arrival, the landlord demanded full payment (we had already paid in full through Home-Away). I called HomeAway, they ensured they would notify the landlord. Apparently this was not done, because the LandLord showed up again, demanding full payment in cash. After a very long (painful - landlord did not understand English, only German) discussion and providing proof several times, the landlord finally said OK but demanded a 30 Euro payment in cash for the pet (which again, had already been paid for in HomeAway -- HomeAway ensured us that one pet was allowed and was included in the final payment). We ended up paying the 30 Euros just to make her be quiet so we could leave. Overall, a HORRIBLE experience.

Very nice stay

Nice place for walking. We have seen the Matterhorn. Directly locaties to the trainstation. Owner of the house very frienly! She played games with the kids and cooked raclette for us. Very clean and complete!
