Gut rehabbed A-Frame Cabin located across the street from Moraine View State Park. Relax with nature around you in this peaceful getaway. Hang out on the front or back deck and watch the deer, wild turkeys, birds, and foxes who are your neighbors. Forest behind you, and Moraine State Park/Dawson Lake in front of you. Use the secret trail to walk to Dawson Lake-Moraine View State Park, for fishing or swimming at Black Locust beach in <5min. Kayak, canoeing, paddle boats, paddle boards for rent at Moraine View Restaurant in the Park.

Equestrian Horse Trail access right across the street. Hunting area access 1/2 mile away.

Property is located on a quiet country road across the street from Moraine View State Park which is located in between LeRoy, Downs, and Ellsworth, IL.

There are other residences on either side of the cabin on this country road, however it's very quiet and peaceful. The loudest thing you'll hear are birds! :)

There are many restaurants, shops, bars, grocery, coffeeshops located in LeRoy, IL and Downs, IL which are less than a 10 min drive from the cabin.

Sleeping Loft has a King size Memory Foam Bed, a Queen Sofa Sleeper on the first floor, and a twin air mattress and air pump.

Kitchen has an Infrared Cooktop Stove+pots/pans that can be stowed in cabinet underneath for more counter space, as well as a toaster/convection oven combo, microwave, coffee maker, crockpot, dorm fridge, freezer, Pots/Pans, Large George Forman Grill, Outdoor Weber Charcoal Grill, and Dishware/Silverware/Utensils provided.

Flatscreen Smart TV with streaming and a DVD Player in Living room, movies provided. Wooden stairs to sleeping loft with 3 safety handles. Stairs can be stowed for more living room space, instructions in the PDF after booking and also in the Cabin Welcome Book on kitchen table.

A/C units on main floor and Loft. Baseboard heater next to the Kitchen table, which seats 5.

Please bring a dog runner and leash for your furry friend, for everyone's safety they must be leashed while outside at all times.
Pet Water bowl on the back deck and scooper provided.

Large back deck with patio set and umbrellas, and Weber Charcoal Grill with utensils.
(Please keep pets away and out of the beautiful wildflowers that surround the back deck.)
