Cabaña de Piedra El Borge by Ruralidays

Villa located in El Borge, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia.

The decoration of this house plays between stone and wood, traditional elements that define the traditional homes of rural Andalusia, combining and harmoniously integrating into ceilings and walls. Soak up the warm and welcoming atmosphere they provide; they will captivate you.

The generosity of the rooms in the villa becomes evident when entering the house, its 260 m2 of living space spread over two floors. There are ten bedrooms, three located on the ground floor, each of which has a double bed, and seven on the first floor. Of them, four are furnished with a double bed each and three with two single beds each. On the first floor, there are three bathrooms with shower, just like the one on the ground floor. Moreover, there is an outdoor bathroom, located right next to the porch. The living area of the villa comprises a large dining-living room with fireplace and a completely equipped kitchen. Nine bedrooms and the living area are provided with air-con.

On the porch, you will find a useful barbeque, a refrigerator, and a large dining table where you can relish delicious dishes with your friends and relatives while enjoying some splendid views that stunning dawns.

Note that the bedrooms will be open according to the number of guests (one bedroom per two people). If you want to have access to more bedrooms, you will have to pay the corresponding amount.

The house features a table tennis table and a basketball court to enjoy yourself during countless moments of leisure. Moreover, the fantastic private pool with views of the surrounding hills and a pergola where to enjoy unforgettable moments.

Access to the isolated holiday home is via a 4 km dirt track from the main road. Being situated on the top of a hill, the track leading to the villa is characterised by bends and slopes and, at some points, flanks the mountains, next to chasms. It is therefore not advisable to choose this house if you suffer from vertigo. The track can be travelled with a car, although an all-terrain vehicle is the best option.
The villa is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and 7 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 10 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a washing machine, and a fireplace.

We had really amazing stay. Villa was very clean. Simple but we liked design and pf course, surrounding. I would really appreciate if kitchen was better equiped, but we managed. The road up to the house is challenging and takes time.

Amazing stay in the mountains of El Borge!

Had the most incredible stay at Cabana De Piedra! I stayed recently with my friends for our 30th birthday celebration. It was so perfect. The villa is in the most incredible remote location in the mountains. The views are spectacular and so dreamy! The villa was perfect for a big group, had everything we needed and was spotless. The owner, Miguel, was Very friendly and helped our taxis get to the villa, as well as the chef we had arranged. The villa is remote so you need to bear that in mind when booking anything or if you’re planning on leaving the villa. We stayed at the villa the entire weekend so it wasn’t an issue for us. Taxis managed to get there too, with a bit of guidance. Had an unforgettable weekend and would come back!

Das Haus war super, etwas hellhörig zwar, aber das hat kaum gestört. Die Zuwegung ist herausfordernd aber locker machbar. Der Vermieter war super zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Einzig die Ausstattung der Küche könnte gerne noch etwas ergänzt werden, wir waren mit 16 Personen vor Ort, da war das Geschirr und auch das Besteck schon manchmal knapp. Aber alles in allem ein tolles Haus mit Top-Vermieter, sehr zu empfehlen.

Der Gastgeber Miquel war top. Wünsche wurden schnellstmöglich geklärt, wenn was fehlte wurde es besorgt. Die Mängel die vorher beschrieben wurden sind behoben. Die Finca ist für die Lage und Umgebung super. Du bist in der Natur und um dich herum nichts. Der Weg, bzw. das letzte Bergstück hat es jedoch in sich. Der Weg ist nicht asphaltiert und uneben. Kleine PKWs mit wenig PS und voll besetzt und beladen haben eventl. Probleme die 2-3 steilen Passagen zu meistern. Die Fahrt zur Finca wurde jedoch mit der Zeit immer besser, da man den Weg kannte. Es ist vermutlich auch nicht dafür gedacht jeden Tag 2-3 mal hoch und runter zu fahren.

Die Villa und die Aussicht waren atemberaubend; der überdachte Sitzbereich mit Blick auf die Aussicht war am spektakulärsten. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass einige Modernisierungen am Haus unseren Aufenthalt deutlich verbessert hätten, aber wir waren uns alle einig, dass der Preis, den wir für das Haus bezahlt haben, unseren Erwartungen entsprach.

Die Lage und Aussicht sind fantastisch. Die Anfahrt zur Villa verlief wie erwartet, obwohl ich sie täglich gefahren bin und mich sehr wohl gefühlt habe. Komfortabel ist ein Van auf jeden Fall. Die Ausstattung ist gut, allerdings bietet die Villa Platz für 20 Personen (wir waren 15) und die Küche ist modernisierungsbedürftig, insbesondere der Backofen mit nur einer Grillplatte, was den Platz einschränkt. Der Grillplatz und das Kochgeschirr sind super. Ein weiterer Punkt, der verbesserungswürdig ist, ist die Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern; die meisten Schlafzimmer haben eine Klimaanlage, aber die Lüftungsschlitze sind zur Tür gerichtet, wodurch es in den Zimmern, mit Ausnahme des Erdgeschosses, sehr warm wird. Außerdem ist die Klimaanlage nicht zimmerweise regulierbar, sondern verfügt über ein festes Panel im Wohnzimmer. Vielleicht wäre es sinnvoll, Ventilatoren in den Schlafzimmern zu installieren. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Vielen Dank.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Leider war der Pool zu kalt, aber das ist im Februar nun mal so. Ein großes Plus sind die 10 Schlafzimmer. Privatsphäre für alle. Der Außenbereich ist perfekt. Obwohl es Februar war, konnten wir draußen beim Grillen zu Abend essen. Das Einzige, was verbessert werden könnte, ist die Menge an Sachen in der Küche. Es ist ok, aber wenn wir mit einer größeren Gruppe (10 oder mehr) unterwegs gewesen wären, wäre es vielleicht nicht ideal gewesen. Wir haben jedoch ein paar Weingläser gekauft, also gibt es zumindest ein paar schöne ;) Die unbefestigte Straße ist etwas anspruchsvoll, aber wenn Sie einen SUV mieten und möglichst langsam fahren, werden Sie keine Probleme haben. Das Einzige ist, dass Sie Google Maps nicht vertrauen sollten ;)

Das Haus selbst ist rustikal, aber komfortabel und der Gastgeber Miguel hat an jedes Detail gedacht, damit sich die Gäste willkommen fühlen. Miguel antwortete unglaublich auf alle unsere Fragen und kam sogar vorbei, um uns eine Schachtel köstlicher lokaler Mangos zu geben – eine so aufmerksame Geste, die unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem machte! Einer der Höhepunkte war das Kochen unserer eigenen Paella auf dem Holzgrill, ein unterhaltsames und unvergessliches Erlebnis für die gesamte Gruppe. Wir haben es auch genossen, uns im Pool abzukühlen und die atemberaubende Aussicht über die Hügel zu genießen. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Gastgeber und keinen perfekteren Ort für unseren Kurzurlaub wünschen können. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig und bietet eine spektakuläre Aussicht. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist beschwerlich, ein SUV ist notwendig. Dies ist eine 10-minütige Fahrt mit steilen und engen Abschnitten. Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen hervorragenden Außenbereich, das Leben im Freien ist ausgezeichnet. Miguel ist ein toller Gastgeber, aufmerksam und immer verfügbar, wenn man ihn braucht. Es gibt viele Wespen, aber diese haben uns nicht allzu sehr gestört. Die Betten waren gut, 12 Personen waren unterwegs und niemand hat sich über den Schlaf beschwert. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ein großartiger Ort, um dem Trubel zu entfliehen.

Was für einen wundervollen Urlaub wir hier hatten. Es ist sehr abgelegen, aber genau das, was wir als 19-köpfige Familie brauchten. Ruhig und abgeschieden. Miguel spricht kein Englisch, Google Translate war hier unser Freund. Er ist ein toller Mann, es gibt keine Probleme und er löst sie sofort, er ist sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr geschätzt. Die Villa ist wunderschön, aber wie die meisten gesagt haben, ist die Fahrt dorthin schwierig, man befindet sich mitten in den Bergen. Aber das hat unsere Erfahrung nur bereichert. Der Pool ist nicht beheizt und mit ca. 1,50 Metern tief genug für Kinder und perfekt für Erwachsene. Uns hat es gefallen. Das Wasser, sagte Miguel, sei trinkbar, sodass es nicht nötig sei, sich mit Wasser in Flaschen einzudecken. Die Treppen im Inneren sind ziemlich steil und der Boden ist komplett gefliest, sodass man besonders vorsichtig sein muss (das hat mich die Woche über in Form gehalten!) Es gibt zwei Standard-Kühlschränke mit Gefrierfach (die wir gefüllt haben und die etwas mehr Platz hätten gebrauchen können, da der Laden 40 Minuten entfernt war) und es gibt keinen richtigen Ofen, nur einen Pizzaofen. Sie hatten auch ein Kochfeld und eine Mikrowelle. Es gab ein Soundsystem, 2 Smart-TVs und die Nachtlounge ist hell erleuchtet und wunderschön. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich gut.

Miguel ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber und pflegt das Haus während Ihres Aufenthalts. Schneller Kontakt über die App und lösungsorientiert. Schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Für uns Holländer sind die Betten zwar etwas klein, trotzdem haben wir wunderbar und erholsam geschlafen. Die Fotos auf der Website waren etwas veraltet, zum Beispiel gibt es keinen Whirlpool. Bedenken Sie, dass Sie relativ weit von der Zivilisation entfernt sind, also erledigen Sie Ihre Einkäufe im Voraus und für mehrere Tage. Ein Skoda Fabia kommt einfach in Frage, für etwas Komfort empfehlen wir jedoch die Anmietung eines etwas größeren Wagens mit Bodenfreiheit. Sie wünschen sich Frieden und Freiheit und haben nicht vor, jeden Tag auszugehen? Wählen Sie dieses Haus!
