Old and Neglected

The hotel is located in central Eilat and about 2 minutes walk from the Red Sea however it feels like it has been neglected by the staff and owners. The hallways are not clean and some of the lights are broken all together. However the room itself was clean and in working order, for the most part.

Good for short-term visits

We were lucky because got a renovated room. Enjoyed our visit a lot. It is expected that all rooms will be renovated by October. Stuff was very helpful. I can recommend this hotel for budget visitors.

You get what you pay for

If you need to go cheap - well this is what you get- it is next to the airport runway and has damage to walls and curtains - the breakfast at the restaurant next store was the best perk - it is the only option if you can't shell out the big bucks for the other luxury hotels there . It is only steps from the beach and boardwalk - for us, it was the only option for the price - nice helpful front desk too - don't go expecting much

A little disappointed in this hotel. It was dirty on the outside, parking situation was terrible. The hallways needed redone, carpet was very worn. The bathroom was great, but the bedroom needed work. The pool area was wonderful, was the best part of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. The front desk personnel were rude and did not speak english well. When we got there would have liked to change hotels but because of the no refund policy could not.

My friend and I were very excited to come to Eilat, so when we were looking at hotel websites, the Dalia hotel looked very nice. When we got there, we were not pleased. The hotel staff were not very helpful and they were very rude to us. The tap in our bathroom sink only had hot water and our A/C would turn off every hour or so which was good at night. It did have a good location and a pool, but I would certainly not go there again.

Dalia Hotel... where is it???

We had a little bit of trouble with the Dalia Hotel. The map was not exactly where it said that it was, in fact it is way closer to the beach and the boardwalk! We also had a little bit of trouble with the booking itself. We tried to book last minute but the booking did not go through to the hotel until the next day. This caused a little problem on check in.

Dalia hotel Review

I needed this hotel as an arrival point before going into Jordan the next day to see Petra for 4 days and upon my return, seeing Mt. Sinai & St. Catherine's on a day trip before I flew back to Jerusalem for the rest of my vacation. The staff was very helpful in contacting my travel agent and confirming a change to my pick-up time to St. Catherine's, which was very important to me and very critical to making the tour. Although I don't think I'd want to spend my honeymoon in this hotel, it was adequate for a beach vacation town and was quite sufficient for what I needed. The area was quite and safe and, again, the room was clean enough for a casual beach town.

not as good as it looks on the pics

I stayed at Dalia htl last week with my father and brother. When we booked the room we booked a room with two single beds and one double. We were surprised when we got a room with three single beds. We tryed to talk to the receptionist and the manager but they insisted it wasnt on the reservation and they dont have such rooms. The room was pretty small but it was very clean and the breakfest was nice. We didnt mind staying there for one night but I wouldnt recomend this hotel for vacation.

Great position. Hotel is currently being rennovated. In need of it, but price increase is steep. No tea and coffee making facilities. Pool not heated but fine on a hot day. No free internet access. Watch the parking, only parking on the hotel side of car park is free, we got a ticket because we didn't know.

Not fancy but adequate, rennovated rooms very nice.

We had a rennovated room for 1 night and 2 nights in an unrennovated room. The hallways could do with a paint job and fitted floor coverings. It was a good 3 star hotel and adequate for the price, but the rennovated room cost much more. I was disappointed there was nothing in the room, coffee making facilities or shampoo and conditioner, especially in the rennovated room. I was there in holiday season and the hotels were heavily booked. I was not unhappy with the service but thought that the internet access should have been free especially for the more expensive night we were there. When we booked in the receptionist did not tell us where we could park the car, consequently we got a parking fine!! How are we supposed to know if they don't tell you! Good location within walking distance to the beach boardwalk.

Dalia Hotel - Eilat, ISAEL

Good hotel for the budget traveller. Breakfast was good and not the typical greasy N. American style. No view of the ocean but we were not in our room long enough to notice. Located a street or two from the main boardwalk/beach but was still good location. Would go back and would recommend to people that don't expect too fancy!

Dalia Hotel: overpriced dump

Never been in a worst hotel. After passing the reception, all seems decaying. The pool is filthy with empty liquor bottles, pistachio skins,DISGUSTING. If I could, I would request a full refund. Never again...

There was no elevator to bring the bags up in! 2and 1/2 stars was too high a rating. Towels were a rare commodity. Would not recommend the hotels to anyone nor go back. Eilat though is a gem.

the price was right, the staff friendly and helpful, location perfect. It was in alking distance to promenade, beaches, tourist center, airport, restaurants and shopping. The hotel and room were very clean. The pool was great.As a 54 year old female traveling alone, I felt it was a waste of money to stay at an expensive luxury hotel, when I was going to be on the beaches, touring, exploring, snorkeling and shopping all day. the Dalia was a perfect place as my home base. Also, the free breakfast at the restaurant next door was amazingly good!

Decent Hotel for a Good Price

Overall, we had a good stay here. It's not a super luxury hotel, but it's a nice hotel for the price. Room was cleanand comfortable. Breakfast was included and was good. Good location - nearby the main beach strip area. Right next to airport, but noise wasn't a problem. We were able to store our bags here on the day of our checkout when we weren't leaving until later that night - and they have a common facility we were able to shower in after we had checked out too. We wish free wifi access would have been included.
