A very reasonable resort with free Wi-Fi at the reception however family rooms are quite small. Spending time in the rooms not recommended when the lounge, swimming pool, bars are outside n quite a big space. ANZ ATM is 2 mins walk to family store where one can buy food etc even restaurants are there. Recommended

I gave 3 stars coz they try but in reality is less than that. Reception is helpful but a bit clumsy (got a wake-up call/door knock at 3am - never asked for it). No lift. The room is dark with limited lighting. Bathroom hmmm.. Pool actually nice setting but the water was greyish dirty. Sunbeds worn n partially torn. Breakfast ok. Location good - walkable distance.

I was surprised by the cost of most things here. Also, the public transportation is a little harder to figure out than most Island places. However, the hotel was pretty good. They helped me navigate to a cool island that’s accessible by public bus and the pool they had was pretty good. They also have a few beat up pool tables in the lobby. I ran into the manager of the place one night and he even gave me tips on what to do at night. The hotel is right around the corner to a few kava places which is a unique experience. All in all, I think for the value of the room, it was a good place to stay. Would recommend a room with AC if I stayed here again however.

Very friendly staff, great pool and nice bar. Beds comfortable. Local shops and restaurants nearby and only a short walk (10 min) to town, the main street and tourist shops and restaurants. Stayed at this hotel several times between trips to Espiritu Santo and Tanna Islands. Staff were also very helpful to book local Port Vila tours too.

Arthur and I come to Port Vila to help as much as we can after Cyclone Pam. And after the start to the year we have had, in the first 6mths we lost 2 Grandchildren Russell 2 yrs old and Annabelle 17 day's old our world was turned upside down. We come back to Coconut Palms Port Vila and it's a Reality check for us to see the people of Vanuatu with their love, beliefs and beautiful smiles we realize yes it's bad BUT that there are others worse off .And the people of Coconut Palms are just a part of our extended family. We wish we could stay indefinitely. Until the next time.

Great location. Supermarket down the road. Easy access to buses/taxies, pool table, cocktails are great, pool area is fantastic, food is pricey and alright, safe rooms, happy workers, felt like second home

Lovely hotel and overall place to hang out whenever you're in Port Vila. I'm a budget conscious traveller and resorts for me are often out of reach so Coconut Palms Resort provided the best value for money. There's no beach but there is a pool that seems to always be well maintained. Walk to town and central market is only <15 minutes away, with a small grocery shop near the petrol station as well as various kava bars (nakamal) nearby. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, with aircon and fan. Bathroom was clean as well, although hot water may be in short supply at times. The complementary breakfast was always exceptional and you can get a nice cup of Tanna coffee for a low price too. The downstairs restaurant/bar/lounge was an awesome place to chill out and let your hair down during the evenings. Staff are very friendly too and their customer service is highly commendable. Thanks for having me guys!

We choosed this hotel because of the price and location (close to the town centre). For the first night we had a large room on the first floor (which was OK) but then we asked to provide us room with balcony what they did and no extra charge! The pool is large and the breakfast-buffet is also OK but could vary more. Wifi is available only in the lobby-area and around the pool but is quite slow sometimes. The staff is extremly friendly and helpful!

good quality and best value for money, quite near to town and near about locations. - Need to improve the quality of breakfast - add some more food in the dinner manu - need to improve cleanness of the dishes in kitchen

This place was walking distance to town but far enough away to be quiet and private. We had a studio room on our first stay. On our next stay we had recently refurbished units. Staff were helpful and friendly. They looked after our luggage while we went shopping before leave Port Villa.
