Stunning period property but needs maintenance.
This is a truly stunning period property in a fabulous location with views of the castle from the window so we had an amazing couple of days. However the property badly needs some maintenance which rather let it down - peeling paint, broken shutters, stained carpets etc. Allowances have to be made for the age of the property but even so, for the price charged the property should be better maintained.
