Extremely expensive but it was Festival time. Mold in the bathroom. They leave a card how to control the heating and AC but THEY control it. The wall control always reads that the temperature is locked and I had to go to reception several times to put on heating in the evening. As soon as it reached the temperature it locked once again and cooled down. The only positive thing is that it’s near the Royal Mile in my opinion.

The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, yiu can walk to everything. The hitel was clean, a bit older and hard to find staff as they also seemed to have to work in the restaurant.

The Hotel is close to Waverly Station and the Golden Mile, so it suited our requirements perfectly. We flew into Edinburgh enroute to a wedding in Long Niddry so we wanted to be close to the Waverly Station and wanted to site see in Edinburgh. The staff were great, the room was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast before heading out for the day.

Städtereise in Edinburgh

Das zugeteilte Zimmer war wie gewünscht ruhig und mit genügend Abstand vom Lift entfernt (wie gewünscht). Die Matratze war wirklich bequem und ich konnte während meinem Aufenthalt sehr gut schlafen. Die Lage war super und zentral gelegen. Der Nachteil war, falls diese nicht besetzt ist, an der Rezeption lange warten, bis jemand kommt, weil die hilfsfreundliche Hotelangestellten unterbesetzt sind.
