This was the perfect location for our first time in Edinburgh. So close to everything we wanted to do and see! The apartment was clean and ready for our arrival and had everything we needed. We were there during a heat wave so was a little warm at night without A/C and with windows open you could hear the noise of the bar down below. Would definitely recommend staying here for the location alone. The amenities are a bonus!
Great location and nicely furnished. Joivy has their own thorough communication app that details the checkin and checkout process. We would stay here again even if my teenage sons shared the pullout couch. However I will say…It can be loud early in the morning when the pub decides to empty its glass recycling or people decide to talk in the courtyard. Earplugs are provided but also this is what you get for staying on the Royal Mile. The combine washer and dryer unit in the kitchen takes forever to do a load. Recommend hang drying instead. Also suggest that a mirror be mounted in the bedroom so someone else can get ready if the bathroom is in use.

Comforter stained, too many keys that didn't always work, no door handle upon arrival, communications were poor as they were not timely, or consistent as messages came via vrbo or email not both. Property noisy at night well after and before bar hours.
