Had a lovely meal - starter and main (would recommend the salmon risotto - amazing!!) accompanied by fabulous cocktails (my sister fell in love with the strawberry and cream one) this was followed by a bottle of wine....staff attentive and friendly, loved it!
This was our second stay in the hotel .When checking in the staff are so helpful ,friendly and polite.every member of staff were very attentive. All the staff are knowledgable about the area and sights to visit ,the hotel is in a great location. The bar is lovely and has a great atmosphere and the cocktails are fab .The breakfast was delicious particularly the eggs benedict .All the room are themed around a famous person from Scotland .Im aiming to stay in the Gerard Butler room next time .If I have one criticism it's that both of the room although they were great don't have an electric socket any where near the mirror no matter how you stretch or move furniture as I did on my first visit ,however Nothing I did resolved this on the second visit so I couldnt view a mirror whilst drying my hair which is a must for females.I contacted reception and we were moved to another room.we will certainly be staying at the Angel Share again 👍😀
Beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Shirley Mansun room. Helpful staff. Lovely romantic stay in a beautiful room. Hotel at West End of Princes Street. Handy location to explore Princes Street. We liked the pictures of famous Scots in the reception.
After 13 of us decided back in October 2017 that we’d fly in from all over the UK to meet up here, imagine our dismay when some of us were faced with cancelled flights due to bad snow. Some of us didn’t know until the night before if we’d make it and some got cancelled on the day of travel. Easyjet really covered themselves in glory, it must be said. During all this, several calls were made to Molly, the reservations manager. She is a real asset to the hotel. She was cheerful and professional despite being stuck at the hotel herself overnight and working all the hours trying to resolve issues with multiple guests not knowing if they could get there or not. I’m so thankful to her and her reassurance. The next time I’m in Edinburgh there’s only one hotel I’ll be staying at! 🙌
Called in for Afew drinks after dining out elsewhere with two friends in a recent trip to Edinburgh. The staff were really attentive and the gentleman behind the bar that evening was really knowledgable about the wines and whiskeys they had to offer. My friend and I enjoyed 2 bottles of wine and here partner sampled Afew whiskeys before we headed home. We only visited the bar which was decorated beautifully chic and modern and I can highly recommend it. Also What I thought was great was The gentleman behind the bar also asked where I was staying (principal George) and he told me about the angel share hotel and about the different themed room etc. Now when I’m up in Edinburgh beginning of November, Upon his recommendation I’m going to check availility and book in. Plus he showed me the food menu and it look great to and caters for coeliacs to! Fab recommendations and can’t wait to stay soon!
I stayed here recently for an overnight business trip . Fantastic hotel, lovely, friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and rooms. Absolutely spotless. Loved all the themed rooms. 30 minutes on tram from airport , get off at west end . Right in the heart of the city easy access to all bars and attractions. Would stay here again and highly recommend
Just got back from a two night stay in Edinburgh, would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit, stayed in the Emeli Sande room. Hotel staff were very friendly, even let us leave our bags there on the last day, while we went to do some more sightseeing. Hotel was very clean, bed very comfy, the shower was the best we have ever used in a hotel, was like a pressure washer 😂😂 Breakfast was very tasty, and the cocktails they made, you could easily drink more. They had a singer on in the bar on our last night, he was really good and wasn’t too loud, so you could still have a conversation, or join in with the singer There is a nightclub next to the hotel, which belongs to it, but never heard a peep. Hotel is situated in the middle of the tourist attractions, so very accessible, and if we ever came back to Edinburgh again, it would defiantly be to this hotel. Thanks for an amazing stay, here’s a few photos we took of the hotel.
Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Angels share hotel for two nights in the Gordon Ramsey room. We had a pleasant stay. Loved the room. Very clean and tidy. The only issue we did have was the aircon in the room wasn't the best so we were very hot during the night. Aside from that our stay was great and we will definitely be booking again!
Visiting Edinburgh on a very wet and grey Sunday looking for a watering hole to kill time before catching coach back to our hotel.Passed this establishment to look in an outdoor shop next door - then took the plunge into an absolutely fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant. It is like a movie set of a glamorous Hollywood bar. The decor is stunning, the staff friendly and welcoming - there was no television (hooray) and no piped music that we could hear.Recommend to everybody.
Just returned from a 2 night stay at this amazing hotel, staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, they even changed rooms for us after we said that our bathroom was very cold, we stayed in the lulu room which was lovely, we were given free prosecco on arrival as it was my husband's birthday also given another 2 glasses of prosecco because we had to change rooms, would we stay here again? Most definitely.
