Staff couldnt do anymore to ensure our stay was just perfect from booking in to booking out. They went all out to accomodate all our needs. Room was stunning, fresh and spotlessly clean. Daniel the receptionist was professional ,friendly, polite and very informative on the history of the Oceanmist. We couldnt have asked for anything better.He sorted things for a surprise birthday presentation in one of our rooms.When out on deck of our last evening, he noticed us on cctv and came out and supplied us with blanckets.

We booked Ocean Mist specifically as is was not in Central Edinburgh, but had close proximity to the trams as we were travelling to Edinburgh by train. We fancied it due to it being a bit different, not just a normal hotel. It did everything a great hotel always does regarding service, cleanliness, being well specified, offer a lovely breakfast, great staff etc, but what was different, was an extra personal touch and the decor/rooms/surroundings being interesting themselves. We stayed for two nights, but would have loved to stay for longer. Definitely one of our favourite stayovers ever!
