We stayed here for 3 night and we get two rooms and living room just for two of us wow. Beautiful location with nice view. Bus stop right by apartments and supermarket like 10 min walking. Lady on reception was very nice and let us check in at 11 am. Excellent place and service hope come back again some days.
We stayed here on Sat 16th September. I had booked this 2 bedroom apartment plus a day at Musselburgh Race Course for our best friend's birthday celebrations. We checked in about 1.30pm. The receptionist was very helpful and our apartment was in Block 7 floor 6. Fantastic views across the Forth to Fife. Great location. Would highly recommend this if you are planning on visiting Edinburgh. Apartments well maintained and had everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay. Even had basics like tea/coffee supplied. Easy transport links across the city. Lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Plenty of parking at the apartments. Would be a great base to holiday in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend. Excellent value. We will be back
The whole process for us was very good. From the lovely welcoming lady on reception, who couldn't do enough for us, to the location and ease of car parking. The apartment itself was very clean, smart and modern with everything we needed for our overnight stay. we did wish we could have stayed longer! The fact that the local bus (Number10), which terminates right outside the apartments,is very frequent and takes you right into the heart of the city was also a plus. As was the 24hr Asda a few minutes away, with a good cafe. The lady on reception was very accommodating and interested in us, a rarity for us. As I suffer from vertigo I had asked for an apartment that was not too high up, she was really good and offered me a choice of floors and was keen to ensure I was happy with my selection. She was also interested in what we were doing; she helped us sort out transport links and suggested modes of transport to help us reach our evening destination easily and quickly. All of which served to make our experience at the apartments very memorable. The only down side, as a previous reviewer has said, is that the double beds were of standard size. As we are used to a queen size bed this meant more of a squeeze for us. Nothing to spoil our stay though and I would not hesitate to book there again.
The apartments are spacious, clean and well presented but it is the little things that let them down. In our apartment a bulb was missing in the living room lights, the cooker hood light was not working and the TV's were all set up in Spanish. Although we were two couples there was only one hand towel per couple. The biggest shortfall as far as we were concerned was the very small double beds. Having said that, the staff were pleasant and helpful and made us feel welcome. Get the small things right and this could be a five star location.
The apartments were very well situated. Close to public transport and the Royal yacht Britannia. Supermarket close by for supplies. It took us a while to find the right building. Parking was good. As we were 3 couples the bed arrangements were a little different. Twin beds were more for children. But we managed. Price was good. Kitchen well appointed.
Very easy check-in with friendly staff. Very spacious rooms with beautiful views across the Forth. Kitchenette allows you to have breakfast in your room (there is a 24-hour ASDA a short drive away) or go to the excellent Brewer's Fayre next to the Premier Inn. Our meal at Loch Fyne (walking distance) was also excellent. No. 10 buses take you directly to the centre of Edinburgh in 15-20 minutes.
These are new apartment buildings on the ocean edge. About 20 min us / taxi ride to City Center. It was a great way to experience life in Edinburgh is like while still doing tourist activities during the day and have a peaceful please to rest your head at night. There is parking available if you need it. Buses and taxis are easy to get. Great views on the water's edge and there are some small restaurants and grocery a short walk away.
Wanted to visit Edinburgh and Royal Yatcht Brittania, this apartment was perfect for us. Family of 4 adults had apartment on 6th floor looking out at the harbour, Forth bridges and Royal Yatcht, what a great view.. Apartment was nicely presented and had everything we could expect. Bus into Edinburgh stopped outside and took 15/20 minutes to Princess st. Lady in reception was lovely and very informative.
Lovely apartments with stunning views. Extremely well equipped and very clean. Upgraded to a 2 bedroom when only paid for a 1 bed. Spacit's and comfortable. Near bus stop for travel into centre and further afield.
A lovely location and friendly, helpful staff, but the apartment was basic and in need of deep cleaning / maintenance. Examples - tap levers coming off, shower door off its runners, hooks coming off the wall and dirty carpets all caught the eye. A shame, as it's a nice area and - importantly - the gentleman on the front desk was very helpful. Glad I didn't play more, but decent value overall.
