Fantastic place to stay free parking a bus on your doorstep that comes every 15mins that goes all over Edinburgh. The apartment was a good size with a beautiful view of the sea but the best part of all was the price, great value couldn't find a better place to stay in june for that price anywhere in Edinburgh the only thing that should be made more clear is that you will haft to pay up an extra £100 on arrival as a damage deposit which you will receive back in upto 7 working days this was not made clear on my booking and could have affected my stay you can imagine if you've specifically saved spending money for your trip and to be hit by a unexpected £100 extra payment could be a shock fortunately this wasn't the case for me and money's wasn't an issue just saying it should be made more clear apart from that small issue I would highly recommend and will stay again soon Xx
What a awsome place with a great view over the ocean but as for the bed they pushed 2 single beds together and i am not a tall man but my feet hang out over the bed.It is also fully self contained so you can cook also has a washing machine and dishwasher but over all good place.
You are at the port. I love gazing at blue sea with white ships moving in and out. A bus to the town every 15 minutes makes it awesome place away from the crowd yet a very connected . The apartments are well equipped, spacious , peaceful and have a great view. Take a day pass of the bus through the app M-ticket. I used to stop at TESCO on my way for my dailies and get into the next bus.
Easy to book and check in. Great location with excellent views from the veranda. Would highly recommend this facility. Free parking and wi fi. Can't think of any down side. Just ideal for this visit and yes would use again thanks
I booked this hotel and it was clearly mentioned that children under 5 stays free when using existing bedding. When I reached at hotel they asked me to pay £50 per night for children under 5 as I had 2 above 5 and 2 under 5 child. I told them that it is against their own policies as they can only charge me when I ask for extra bedding. But they refused to listen and mentioned that you can't even book 2 bedroom apartment with 4 children. A gentleman next to receptionists tried on his computer and when he saw he can book, they changed their argument and say that it is against safety guidelines and I've to upgrade to 3 bed apartment. When I agreed to it and they realized that they don't have any 3 bed apartment left, they charge me £30 extra per night for children under 5. £90 in total for 3 nights for exactly same apartment. Even after that they didn't provide any extra bed but only provided bed linen for 1 extra bed.
On arriving at the apartment we were struck by it's amazing location - by the waterfront. The apartment was huge, beautifully decorated and maintained and we had a waterfront view to die for. The apartment had all the amenities that you will need for a party of four people. It was quiet, calm and totally relaxing. It is within walking distance of a Brewer's Fayre - delicious food at reasonable prices - and an Asda for any much needed items. It is located about 15 minutes from Edinburgh city centre - it is an easy drive in parking is not a problem. We had to book at the last minute and the lady on reception was very helpful and we were able to check in quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend these apartments to everyone. The only complaint I have is that we didn't stay longer!
We booked an AirBnB here and the apartment was just lovely. The view of the sea was really nice. The apartment was very spacious and lively . There was a ASDA superstore close by so that was convenient, but though it was relatively the closest supermarket, it was quite a walk. Would love to stay here again!
We arrived on Friday 28th April for two nights with the kids and. although late and the reception office had closed, were able to access our key easily from a locker. All confirmations were sent to us on our journey up to Edinburgh by text so ensure your phone is accessible (by someone other then the driver if coming by car). We found a car park space directly outside our apartment building and walked to Asda to get some food as the restaurants had stopped serving at 9.30pmish. On entering the apartment, our daughter allocated the accommodation so the kids had the ensuite master but the other bedroom was fine and there was a family bathroom next to it. The children appreciated the space and the views and my 16 year old daughter announced that she would like to live in a similar apartment when she is older (praise indeed). There were small milks and butter sachets, tea, coffee, etc, all the things you forget to buy from Asda fro a couple of days' stay which was great. I cooked breakfast both mornings and the kitchen was really well-equipped. Would recommend to friends and hope to stay again soon.
The view was outstanding, wonderful, amazing. The apartment was well laid out with comfortable furniture, and the kitchen was spacious with plenty of bench top. We had a shower in ensuite and there was a separate bathroom plus a washing machine and dryer which we needed. The bed was so comfortable. In fact wouldn't mind living there. Location wise we were close to HMY Britannia and there was an ASDA nearby. Parking could be difficult and the staff were ok
Great surprise to find such a big apartment, so spacious. Views across the Forth and the bridges. We were only there one night but wished we had been staying a lot longer. It has every thing you needed. Will definitely plan to stay there on our next visit. Very easy to get into the city with a bus stop right outside and short walk to The Shore with plenty of pubs and restaurants.
