Good location within 15 minutes walk from the castle

We had booked a two-bedroom apartment (for 4 adults), which was quite satisfactory. The staff were very good. It was extremely hot when we arrived at the hotel, but they provided two pedestal fans on request -- which made the first night at the hotel bearable. On the second night, the weather had become fine and the fans were not needed. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from a bus line, which took you into the downtown area as well as to the airport. The apartment has free parking for guests. The bedrooms and the sitting room were OK, but rather small. A major problem was that all doors in the apartment could not be kept open; they said it was because of fire risk!!! A simple device (door stoppers) would have made it much more comfortable for us.

in room WIFI. Newly build/renovated.

The apartment was well equipped. We found that most of the attractions in Edinburgh to be in walking distance (we're good walkers though), and for those not in walking distance public transportation was close and frequent. The only two negatives are that the washing machine (the main reason we booked the apartments) could only wash and dry a few things at a time. It would take all night to wash and dry a few pairs of socks and underwear. We also wished that there were more restaurants close by. But for the price and amenities, I would recommend the apartments.

Clean and comfortable, but a little bit of a walk from the main Edinburgh attractions. However, everything is still in walking distance.

We thought our stay was perfect, but on the last day my husband noticed that 50 scotish pounds was stolen from his wallet. On the last day the cleaning lady was the only one that entered the room. I had just given the money to my husband the night before, so we know when it happened. But we were leaving on a morning flight so we couldn't do anything about it. It's a shame too because we really enjoyed our stay there.
