Located in a lovely neighbourhood, walking distance to the beach(10 mins), friendly, helpful staff. Disappointed that we couldn’t get an appointment in the beauty salon but we enjoyed the use of the leisure centre. I would stay there again.

The hotel is very nice with friendly staff and a nearby newsagent. The hotel is also close to Brunstane rail station with regular trains to Edinburgh Waverley, and there are nearby bus stops for buses into Edinburgh city centre. The room is clean and, although fairly basic, is decent size and contains everything you need. The breakfast is of good quality, and the adjoining gym and spa are definite bonuses.
