Carribber Beech Cottage lies within the extensive grounds of the owner’s home with a trout fishery in the lochs beside the cottages. There are good walks from the doorstep, with more extended routes nearby. Linlithgow Palace, the House of the Binns and Hopetoun House give fascinating insights into life in past times, or you can visit the gigantic Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel to admire contemporary engineering and design. There is easy access to Stirling and Glasgow, as well as Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Loved the stay in the country next to the fishery and sheep! Beds were comfortable and the cottage clean and relaxing. Host was very friendly and worked with us to understand how to contact him from USA phone and changing the leading 0 to 44 on the phone number so we could successfully contact him. Taking the train from Linlithgow to Edinburgh worked well for us.
